‘25 RHO
Took delivery on 11/11. Truck died while driving and CEL came on a few days later with active misfires, low catalytic pressure, and miscellaneous low voltage codes. Subsequently assessed with damaged catalytic converters. If you’ve experienced the same and have questions feel free to shoot me a DM for info on resolution.

Just general FYI for those that might care. I’ve had the RHO for a few weeks. Took the vehicle to dealer today as check engine came on this morning. Code came up as catalyst system low efficiency and multiple love voltage / battery shorts. They were able to clear the codes and took it for a drive during which they had multiple misfires. Vehicle has 472 miles. More to come
This must be frustrating, and to be honest it should never happened. I guess it's the same issues as the 1500. Hopefully you get sorted and no issues.

I am throwing a low voltage code as well. Can you tell me what codes your truck is throwing? My truck goes in Monday. Started throwing code at 172 miles.

I hope we are not getting lemons. I don't like lemonade.

Had RHO for a few weeks? How? Define a few weeks.

I’m hoping they can fix yours with new batteries.

If you get new batteries & that solves the codes, make sure to bring the truck home and hook up your charger. Took a full 48 hours for my new batteries to fully condition & reach peak voltage.

Fingers crossed for you!

This was a similar occurrence with the TRX when it was first released. I am sure there will be several firmware updates to fix small things that are triggering. The standard output hurricane had several updates issued to fix the so-called misfire issue. I am expecting some level of being a "guinea pig" with this new release truck/engine combination. I just hope the issue doesn't end up leaving me stranded somewhere. If the code is bogus and ends up being nothing, then so be it. I will work thru it with the dealership to get the issue resolved. That being said, a weekly occurrence would not be pleasant 😒.

Wonder if this issue is connected with the huge delay in building and/or releasing them to dealer.

I'm sorry but I could not disagree with this "assumed risk" line of thinking more strongly. These are nearly $90,000 vehicles. The internal combustion engine is not a new thing. RAM is not a startup.

Do things go wrong? Yes, of course. But to say it's ok or you should expect it as an early order is absurd to me. If that's the case, they should offer an early order discount for doing their testing for them.

Just my opinion, others are welcome to their own.

I have been with RAM for over 20 years now and owned many of their trucks. Mainly due to the fact that I get tired of vehicles way too fast lol. I went thru similar patterns with the HEMI line up in the beginning and that went on to be a leading engine/powertrain for a long time. Not saying it is a perfect way of thinking to expect failures, but with these vehicles having so much tech it is bound to happen. RAM has always stood by their products, at least for me they have. That is the one thing that makes investing in this expensive truck easier to bare. Everyone has had their horror experiences with brands along the way. One thing that sets them apart is being there to solve a problem and not just ignoring you/pushing you away. I can almost guarantee they had parts/components that had issues and delayed this launch.

My Ram experience 0 and 2.....

I bought a new 2022 Ram Rebel GT, it had a noticeable gas pedal hesitation (without coding), the dealership said it was my driving ...."BS". Then the truck progressed into stalling 10 times in busy traffic, throwing codes, which they also could not cure.

Thru it all, I spent way too much time at the dealership service center and finally had to "Lemon Law" the truck.

Although I enjoyed the truck, I could not live with unexpected stalling so I ordered an RHO May 9 which still today is in "D" status. After 6 months of not having a vehicle I give up on the RHO and bought new alternatives (Honda Ridgeline Trailsport and BMW Z4 M40i).

I hope the RHO problems that I am seeing online are just short term startup issues and can be cured in a timely manner with better luck than I had with my Rebel or my RHO order.

Life is good now.....

PS....what I still miss is the sweet sound of the factory Rebel GT catbacks' and the Hemi 5.7 V8 😢

Wait…you wanted an RHO & ended up with a Honda Ridgeline Trailsport?

To each their own. A least you know, it should be reliable.
