2023 Grand Wagoneer
I know nobody is buying these vehicles for the fuel economy, but I’m sure many of us are current and/or previous TRX owners and an improvement in MPG is likely a selling point for you (it is for me at least)

Have there been any estimates published online anywhere?

From what I’ve read 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

My guess is 12 city and 17 highway. It's still quite a bit heavier than a Ford Raptor, which gets 14 city and 18 highway. I hope I'm wrong though!

I would assume this is pretty accurate, along the same lines as the grand wagoneer

I imagine mpg would be same as the Ford Raptor V6 in the real world.

Assuming it has the same 33 gallon tank, would mean 495-693 miles a fill up. Massive improvement.
Yea the trx 300 miles per fill up added up costs real fast. Will miss the v8 but will try rho and see what happens

Indeed. I had an unexpected change in my commute when I had my TRX and practically lived at the gas station every week.

I can see a solid 16 on the highway, possibly a respectable 13 in the city. This is from my driving habits, not what the official number will is because that'll be irrelevant. We all drive different. Plus, who can keep their foot off a boosted vehicle? I know that I cant, lol

I am hoping we can hit the 15 city and 21 hwy. making this an incredible DD

GW is full time AWD. That’s a pretty good MPG out of the GW. Mine has under 14 in town and 18 highway with the 6.4.

I'd be interested to see what the fuel mileage is when towing. If it can get around 10mpg towing 6000 pounds, that would be great! 300+ miles on a tank.

Yeah I don't expect it to be too far off of the tungsten. Both are heavy with the same engine and transmission, both have 3.92 rear ends. The RHO may be a bit lower as it is full time 4x4 so it can't just run two wheels and larger tires. So I expect it to drop a bit but not too much

I thought the Tungsten was full time 4x4. Also Tungsten has 20" wheels with P285/45TR22 BSW plus slightly more GVWR. Seems to me like pretty close but yeah, could be an mpg or so off, like a Tundra Platinum vs TRD Pro

The Tungsten isn't full time 4x4 and it also has 22" wheels.

I'm thinking the RHO will be 18-19mpg on the highway. Possibly 15 city and 17 combined.
