Does anyone know if you can put deployable running boards on the build of the RHO? Anyone know why you cannot get the spit tailgate option with the two-tone bumper paint? Last, is height of the truck much higher from the pavement to enter the truck than a standard Laramie with 20-inch wheels?

You can’t get a split tail gate with any option on RHO no matter what paint or spec you go with. You can’t order with your RHO but your dealer can order them and install when truck comes in and include it in the invoice on one bill.

I heard the split tailgate isn't offered on an RHO because it isn't stiff/strong enough for the RHO in an offroad capacity.

I couldn't tell you the actual measurement of how much taller than a standard Laramie but its significant. I came from a Rebel which I think is taller than a Laramie and its a much bigger hop up into my RHO. I'm tall and don't like side steps and its tall enough to have me considering steps....

Thanks for the reply. I'm short with a bad hip. I think maybe I better stay out of an RHO. Furthermore, I really like the RHO trucks a great deal. I like the Rebel and would do a new Rebel maxed out like my Laramie, but you cannot get the HO motor option in the 25 Rebels. Which in my opinion is a terrible choice from Ram to force many out of Rebels who may have bought one.
