So i ordered my wheels/tires from customoffsets...they came with TPMS installed. I then had my local shop mount the new wheels/tires onto the truck and they seemed to have issues syncing up the TPMS. Something about the couple machines they have on hand aren't working with this particular set of TPMS. Does this sound right and if so, any ideas on what tool would work?

Sensor Type: MXSensor 1

Same issue on my '24 Wagoneer with sensors from tirerack, had to buy the mopar sensors and have the dealer swap them out. It was under 200 if i remember right.

so your only option was to buy new tpms. thats nuts. how are they making new tpms that tools can't read. ugh.

Tirerack sensors
433MHz Tire Pressure Sensor
Vendor Part #: 3996-100

Those didn't work

They put in 68591921AB-001 at the dealer and those did work

I thought the sensors actually sync up after 30 or so miles of driving? Obviously they need to be the correct sensors.

yeh, they didn't auto update so i took it back to the shop and they said the 2 tools they had wouldn't work on the TPMS that were installed.

Just an FYI, the Mopar sensors sync up immediately with the truck. I purchased new wheels and the OEM sensors from Nick at 797 performance. They are in fact 433 MHz but I have heard of issues with aftermarket sensors. You should definitely hit up Nick if you need the OEM’s.

@Nick797 can you shoot me a link for these? I didn't find them on the website (just Ford ones).

I can verify that Mopar TPMS part # for the 2025 RHO is 68293199AA
These will work with any Ram 1500 from 2022- 2025 TRX and RHO included

To the OP

I've had a TON of issues using custom offsets universal sensors. We usually only use MOPAR or Schrader, unfortunately when they do not focus on a specific platform you'll run into something like this. :( We can get a set of OE out for you asap!
