Not trying to be a downer here but how many people are still having issues?

Do you have any issues with your new truck?

I screenshotted some stuff from a Facebook group and it looks like there at 10 plus posts about RHO check engine lights and failures just in the past 2 weeks on that thread alone, doesn’t seem like there’s are less issues with the RHOs that came out recently.. sounds like a lot of people have their trucks sitting at dealerships with unknown repair time frames.

I’m supposed to be picking up my second RHO this month after the first one had a engine failure at 50 miles and dealer bought it back and I reordered.. I’m nervous about this new truck because my first one left me stranded on the side of a highway hours after leaving dealership.
Hard to trust it but I really want to.

Obviously Id like to hear only the great flawless stories but I wanna see the real amount of people with or without issues.

Hate to be that guy, but I wonder if different shifts at the factory matter? Could some of the recurring problems be attributed to poor workmanship by one or more individuals on the line? I have watched many coworkers over the years not give a shit about their work...that's definitely not my style, but I think we've all witnessed it at some point.

My issues where with the AUX battery (it failed).. that resulted in CEL, Auto/Stop studdered, Blind Spot monitoring needs service warning. Battery's changed, issues went away. Fixed in a day, i had them keep it for two days to drive it around.

Vehicle Built - Feb 7th
Actual Delivery - Feb 24th

Cant have issues if you don't have a truck so yeah I'm issue free....but now that i have waited a year for this stupid truck, if it has issues i will be so beyond pissed and sell it. My truck has sat at inspection almost 3 months so plenty of time to fix any issue. Now sitting in a cornfield in middle of Michigan still "in production" .... how hard is it to build a base model with 3 options?!

Ram really knows how to give their customers the middle finger. i have lost all excitement i had for this truck. Now kicking myself for not buying pretty much new TRX 3 months ago .. Love that i was one of the first people to order and likely going to be one of the last to receive a 25 model before we switch to 26 production. meanwhile dudes ordering in Jan/February are getting there trucks. BUT REMEMBER, RAM CARES GUYS.

My original other was May 8th and it hasn’t come in yet, placed a second order and had truck delivered within 2 months in December. Placed a 3rd order in January and it looks like it might be here before my original May order as well.

Supposed to get mine delivered next week I'll let you know ha

Knock on wood but not one issue yet... I just took it for a moderately long drive yesterday and I'll be on the road this weekend and next week.. .Approaching 1k miles and that should really pick up over spring break. Hopefully I am one of the lucky ones.

Sorry for the frustration but its not that hard to:

A) Build trucks in a timely manner for customers paying nearly 6 figures of their hard earned money for your truck. no year wait times. prioritize orders by date placed. You have literally thousands of employees monitoring throughput, analyzing data and you cant get a customer their order in a year?! how does this not get addressed?

B) Build trucks that aren't full of gremlins and issues, give a damn about the product you are making! New trucks should not have this amount of issues. period. This chassis has been out 5 years and this engine 3 years, NO EXCUSES, FIGURE IT OUT

C) Actually communicate with your customers on what is going on with their truck. why does my truck sit at the factory 3 months with zero update on what the heck is going on?! nobody can tell me to this day.

D) Now that a whole can of issues have been found in this truck, ( melted cats, 02 sensors, dead batteries, random error codes, blind spot error, etc) maybe some communication or bulletins from the engineers of what is going on?

My frustration is 100% only at Ram. y'all are awesome. pathetic for a billion dollar company.

looks mostly CC and O2 related, is there a company offering a turboback exhaust already?

I’ve had the Blindspot monitoring issue pop up a couple times, but I’ve noticed every time it is after it rains and the roads are really dirty. It tells me to wipe off my rear sensors. I do that in next start up. It’s usually off. Besides that I absolutely love the truck not going lie, though with all the issues I’ve read he does make me a little nervous to take it far off road.

Exactly.. it will take me some time to trust it enough to go somewhere off the road. For the first 5k I’ll need to be in tow truck radius 😂

For real lol I’ve got 4000 miles on it and have not had much other than that little blind spot issue but I’m pretty sure it’s got really sensitive sensors so the dirty rainwater seems to make it act up.

Did my first oil change at 1500. Now at 2000 with none of the electrical gremlins or issues so far. I have another truck that I “try” to swap out from one week to the next but that has been a miserable failure. This thing is just an absolute joy to drive!

Has that engine always been made in Mexico? On the bottom right of my window sticker that’s what it says.

I had posted in another thread that I wasn’t having issues with my RHO with 1400 miles, but I jinxed it.

Front differential was leaking, and now needs to be completely replaced.

Blind spot monitoring and Energency braking lights came on and dealership diagnosed it as faulty modules that - get this - are back ordered with no ETA.

Brand new truck is stuck at the dealer with no ETA. This sucks. I opened a case with RAM, let’s see what happens. Not happy to not have an ETA here.

leaking front diff? i think that's the first, did you find it or did the dealership?

This is the best pic I have, but I found drips on the ground around the 1200 mile mark. Sucks. But seems like that’s the easiest fix as they have the part in stock.

It’s the back ordered electronics modules that sucks. Apparently it’s an ABS module and something else, no ETA other than “hopefully by end of month”
