On board power system

No sir I dont
Thought that might be the case. So it needs more than just the missing wire to make it work. Sure if someone cared enough they could tie it into the console outlet since all 3 outlets use the same inverter. Could also ask them to pay for the bedrug since you cut it thinking you had an option you didn’t have.

Yes me too I texted the gm of my local dealership I'll see what he says
Did you ever get a reply from the GM? I am trying to figure out how to add that plug. If I knew if there was a harness somewhere it would make it much easier, but I can’t seem to find it. I would pay good money for a damn wiring diagram of the inverter. I did find out the inverter is installed behind the UConnect screen and module though…

Well you would need a new rear harness, the outlet, and a switch that goes by your left knee to turn on the outlet at a minimum. Seems for 400w it would hardly be worth up fitting one into a truck without the bed group

What I was hoping to do is use it as as another charging source for my 460ah Lithium Battery in my bed. I am designing, and already bought the equipment, a power station for bed of truck. I have the EGR hard power tonneau cover that has T-Rails on it. I am putting a 250w solar panel on over the tonneau cover (low profile) that is quick disconnect. That will be one source to charge my Aux battery (Epoch 460ah Elite V2). The other source to charge it is the Redarc BCDC Alpha that hooks to the starter battery/smart alternator, the Redarc accepts the solar and the alternator. It also provides the ability to use the Lithium battery to charge the starter battery. But ideally I would be able to use the built in inverter as a 3rd charging option. I also want to be able to plug my truck in to 120v while in the garage to charge the Lithium battery. The built in 400w inverter is not an inverter/charger unfortunately so that is out… I wouldn’t mind still being able to put an outlet in the bed of my truck that uses that inverter, but ultimately after I get what I have wired up and ready I will be buying the 3000w Xantrex Freedom XC Pro Marine inverter/charger and using that for my AC side power station. And will wire outlets for the bed.
I am actually really happy I have the blank cover plate in the bed that would have things in it with the bed utility package as that Hope is rather large and can fit a lot of equipment. Even the Redarc Alpha fits in there to keep it hidden. I also plan to put all my fuses, disconnects, ect in there with the cover being modified to have AC outlets, USB outlets, DC cig lighter outlet, Solar MC4 ports for ground based solar panels, and of course on/off switches for any/all future lighting after all my auxiliary switches are used up. Currently I have the Go Rhino LightBar mounted to the hard EGR power tonneau cover with the power actuator to raise and lower the lights in the bar, I absolutely love being able to use the auxiliary switches to control the lights and actuator, it was tricky getting wired properly, one aux controls the power actuator up/down of the lights, one controls the spotlight long range feature of the lights, and one controls the driver function of color backlights. I am not fond of having to use 3 of my Aux switches for 1 set of lights though. Since the lights we’re using a 3 way switch I had to use 3 and I had to use two different relay modules to make it work. A FW relay, and a changeover mini 5 pin relay. Anyway, if you find anymore out on the inverter it would be awesome if you’d share, if interested I will share my project details/photos when complete. I have a post on here that has the Tonneau cover and Lights bar with pictures.
