One of the 1st hot days in my home town…engine rattling noise

Over 95 degrees. Took a 23 mile highway trip to get some parts. Upon getting back into the truck, I fired it up & engine rattled like it was starving for oil or something was coming apart. Cleared up in a couple seconds, but concerning.

Oil level & pressure was fine. No CEL.

Anyone else noticing start-up noise/rattle in higher ambient temps.

Have not and its been hot for a few months already down here in South Texas

Only have 1700 miles on the oil, so it’s not due for an oil change.

Guess I will just continue to monitor. If something’s gonna break, it’s gonna break. Just hope it doesn’t strand me.
