Something I just noticed on my window sticker since it populated was, "Performance Brakes" listed for the RHO. Has anyone really taken a look to see what kind(if any) of brake upgrade we get over the other Rams? I highly doubt we get a nice 6 piston setup or something, was just interested to see if they're actually different than say a Rebel.

Funny you ask this, I was considering asking the same. Part #'s will tell the true story but if I had to guess, the RHO probably has a higher performance pad compound and that's it. I can confirm the rotors and calipers are the same.

Aw, well that's lame. Can't put anything past manufacturers to market things into the window sticker.

What were the TRX guys upgrading to?

There are a few options out there for the TRX, but most caliper upgrades involved going to at least a 20” wheel and costing a few thousand dollars or more. I am guessing the RHO will be the same story.

Many just go with better rotors and pads (vs OEM).

IdealRace will be working with Girodisc to make some very nice 2 piece rotors for the RHO. I’ll post back here when I can share some more details.

The rotors & calipers are the same as what? A standard Ram 1500 crew cab?

The front calipers are 2-piston sliders…quite large…almost look like they could be for a commercial box truck, or similar.
