Poll: Which Issues Have You Had?

I think we focus a lot on the small handful of people who are having problems, but I was hoping to get some representative proportions of people who have taken delivery of their RHO.

I know this will still be skewed, but at least it'll give us an idea from the active forum members.

It won’t let me add “other (specify in reply)” to my “other electrical”, but as I look around my RHO for various reasons, I continue to find assembly issues…some cosmetic…some more serious.

The reporting on an angry & disengaged workforce at SHAP…well, I can attest to that. At least, that’s how it appears to an end consumer, me. This is my 3rd Ram & by far the worst in terms of initial experience & sloppy assembly.

But, I’m not your average car guy…I’ve been a parts manager at a body shop, I’ve been a claims adjuster, I’ve owned over 30 new vehicles in my lifetime. Let’s just say I see stuff many folks would never notice or understand. Maybe somebody else would see a perfect truck. I suppose ignorance can be bliss.

It’s a fair issue. My May 8th order hasn’t moved since Sept, when it showed scheduled. Scheduled for what, I don’t know. Ended up buying an L1 truck that cost me $10K more than I originally wanted to spend.

I have a feeling my friends truck will have battery drain issues also sitting at body vendor for 32 days. Will arrive in 2 days so we will see.

The only issue I have is shipping damage on LH rocker panel and LH bumper plastic valance and factory not painting gas cover enough. Dealer will fix once the Valance comes in. The only annoying part is not being able to PPF and ceramic coat it until its done.

Drivers side front CV failed at 300 miles. I have a ABS permanent code embedded in my computer that I am stilling trying too clear to pass CA smog. The dealer who is replacing my CV shaft called today and stated the tech found a bolt cross threaded on a control arm and they were going to keep the truck for two more days to replace it as well. I am hoping that the bugs will be worked out soon, I love the truck.
