I was just informed the $500 Military discount doesn't apply to the RHO.

Has any veteran already received/used their discount on their RHO?

another huge middle finger from ram to the men who keep this country safe...

If you're ordering from Mark Dodge and getting $10k+ off is it really a big deal?

I mean you could give RAM the middle finger and go buy a Raptor for MsRP?

Gotta say, as a veteran, not at all happy about this. $500 is not a big deal for a buyer, or Ram for that matter, but the optics are terrible.
I've been out for years and don't qualify for the rebate, so I get it, no problem. That being said, doing this to recently separated Vets on RHO only just seems petty.

Come on Ram, you can do better!

If they left it at zero rebates across the board it wouldn't bother me as much.
But having TDMs and holiday bonus cash, for example, but not the military/responder is stinky.

It is what it is. We gray beards have seen the cycle many times over. I actually had a Chrysler parts guy tell me once that he should charge more since my military benefits are so plentiful. It's all good with me.
(It was my honor to serve. Thank you for supporting my adventures.)

I am guessing that you have never served.

Oh here we go. You served so everything should be free for the rest of your life. Got it.

I grew up in 29 Palms basically on MCAGCC and LOVE our military but damn.

No, I wasn't. I pretty much only used my left thumb to service targets. 🤔😅 wink, wink.👍
Copy haha. My shop is all Military retired or have served and I have a gunner.

I'm not even an admin here but I have seen this exact topic go straight to hell on other forums, lets keep it clean and keep the animosity pointed to a worthy target like sleazy carsalesmen rather than each other.

I served active duty and am now a 100% disabled veteran and all of this hand-out, gimme gimme crap from veterans makes me cringe.

I mean sure, you served, good on you(!). That was your choice but nobody owes us shit, especially a damn discount on anything

Go eat your Applebees on 11/11 and get your Lowes parking and 10% discount and be on your way.

Lighten up Francis

They are not offering the $500 First Responder Discount either.

I served and appreciate all the extras that come with being a veteran but i find myself as i get older to answer "no" when they ask...i don't want anything because i served this country. I got me out of my shit town and started me on a better path towards my future...thats enough. But i do think its bad business not to offer it being that its been offered so much. Not very good optics.
