RAM RHO Towing Capacity -?????

Different suspension components and wheels tires, etc. give the RHO a lower towing capacity apparently that other 1500 models like the Laramie.

Well, this is confusing....

I’ve seen multiple spec sheets listing the payload at 1,520 lbs and max towing at 8,380 lbs. These are the maximum ratings, so it will drop once you start stacking options on, but they’re still better than the TRX.

This is the MAXIMUM chart. For the RHO that would mean BONE basic don't touch anything don't think about anything don't think about touching anything and the payload and towing should be maxed out like this. For the other trims, it may include selecting a particular rear axle ratio, omitting other options, etc etc. Once we get the first few window stickers out we should be able to pull up the payload/towing from the fancy backdoor links that the hdrams guys figured out.

What would be REALLY cool would be if we can keep this thread realative to towing/payload and members post up their doorjamb sticker with their window sticker to show real life examples of how things turn out. I promise we'll grab a few as they come through.

The conventional hitch tongue weight for the above chart is calculated as 10%. Maximum tongue weight for Class IV hitch receiver is limited to 1,100 lb.
