RAM RHO Transmission Issue

It is crazy but absolutely not surprising as the technicians now have absolutely ZERO ability (or authorization - likely both) of doing any actual troubleshooting

My truck sat at the dealer for a month with 500 miles on it because THEY installed my Mopar power running board incorrectly which blinked my odometer and made my driver's door lock inoperable. It took them a month to nearly completely rebuild my driver's door (harness, bracket, locking module, and something else I have forgotten).

I had to send an email to the GM and the Service Manager begging them to look at the install of the running boards because my SA would not listen to me.

30 second fix
That’s the worst. It sucks going to the service desk and saying “I saw on the forum” but there’s a lot of good info out there and they just don’t want to hear it. Myself included when I was a service manager. 😂

I'm looking at the diagrams of the ride height sensors and I cant help but wonder if we could come up with a way to replace the arm/rod that goes from the senor to the control arm with an adjustable rod that we could extend so that the sensor would think the truck was back to its factory ride height.

something like this?

I’d be willing to buy and try anything.

This is the closest thing I could find on eBay. Very generic, Chinese junk. But for $80 I’ll probably just try it to see what happens.

Can anyone with access to a real parts diagram Confirm the P/N and description of the sensor attached to the A-arm on these trucks? The shitty version I found is too hard to tell. One is labeled ride height sensor and one is labeled active dampening sensor. Which is which?

Are ours not adjustable? I can’t tell and too lazy to go look. Lol

They almost look like they are adjustable, unfortunately I won’t be with my truck for another week or I’d check.

I don’t think they are, unless the jamb nuts are under the rubber boot. I’d have to take a closer look tomorrow. Question I have is, someone told me the ride height sensor only adjusts the headlights. I can’t confirm or deny that. So I’m wondering where the “active dampener” sensor is that’s listed in the same parts diagram. I might just unbolt the sensor this weekend and move it and see if the headlights move.
