Unfortunately one of our team members trucks has an engine oil leak we spotted around ~ 700 miles. Dealer confirmed today that the rear main seal is leaking. Curious if anyone else has experienced this?

That’s good to know, thanks. I hope that’s the case for youI saw traces of an oily substance around that weep hole at the transmission/engine block connection the 1st time I looked under my truck at between 100-200 miles.
I cleaned it off with some AP cleaner & it hasn’t returned. I assumed it was leftover lube that had seeped down when they joined the engine to the transmission at the factory.
Was the digital dipstick able to catch the fluid loss? That’s good to know, thanks. I hope that’s the case for you
I don’t think it was enough to register on there. If I were to guess it was less than .1 qt loss. Was the digital dipstick able to catch the fluid loss?
I agree, hoping it’s a one offMan at least it's under warranty, hope we don't see more of these.
Year of your vehicle?I just seen this post!!!...I thought I was the only one with this problem...This issue has caused other issues because of the repair...
Nothing but problems after the repair!!!...It landed at MD on 12/31/24....She has been a shit show from day 1If it’s 12/24/25 (Christmas Eve), bet they were rushing your build. But if it’s 12/2024, then they still were rushing. Hopefully the dealer puts their best tech on your truck to get this matter resolved.
According to the dealer everything is normal....It's ok to have a solid 12ppm of carbon monoxide coming through the vents and down shift so hard you can hear the rear end clunk! Can you lemon it?
