Picked up on Tuesday and took on a 300 mile trip for Thanksgiving. Here are my initial thoughts. I’m sure a lot of this is covered but trying to give info for the group.

Performance
The truck can go if you let it. I was constantly pushing 80 and it felt like I was going 60. I haven’t pushed it during break in so not sure on really getting into throttle yet.

Adaptive Cruise
This worked well for me and I didn’t have any issues. You have to keep those eyes forward or it will shut down.

Stereo
As everyone has said it’s underwhelming but isn’t terrible for a factory system.

Information
Tons of cool gauges and charts to track performance. I’m still digging into all these features.

Passenger Screen
My son tried to connect but it didn’t seem to be very intuitive. I couldn’t run cap play while he was connected. Let me know if I’m doing something wrong here.

Interior
Super nice and great quality in my opinion. All buttons and screens make sense and located where you would expect.

I need a bed cover and running boards. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Happy to answer any questions incident cover.

For a bed cover, I have the factory tri fold on my 2020 Rebel, and also ordered it for my RHO. Easy to engage and disengage front and back. Super quick to get into, and also easy to take off if you want to take it off. My buddy ordered one from Amazon that is difficult to totally take off if you need to.

Nice truck! I totally recommend factory off-road steps. I have them on my current ram and love them especially since nobody can hit the truck with their door 😁
Yes. Ditto here with the steps. Currently have them on the Rebel and I like them.

I wish I had ordered the off road running boards with it for $1150. They are over 2k after the fact which is crazy.

I ordered them not knowing or thinking the automatic ones were an option. Probably going to upgrade and sell the off road ones. I’m sure people will have them available once more trucks get delivered.

True. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that.

I like the tow mirrors! They don't look too big.

I'm curious about the ride quality when the truck is empty and hitting the choppy freeways. I hear good things but have had a couple of sales guy they'll ride rough.

This is what I ordered! It's got rails for optional racks.

If possible, could you please put a level on the tip of the shark fin and measure to the ground for the total height of the truck?

Thanks and yours is a great looking truck!

I have ordered the Mopar power running boards and the Undercover flex hard tri fold tonneau. I like the carpeted underside)

Decent review and some newer content

It rides like a lifted pickup on 35s. It’s definitely not a Cadillac ride, or BMW highway ride. And, choppy freeways? Well, the chassis tends to amplify smaller bumps and undulations, so it can feel a bit “busy” at highway speeds.

That said, I’ve gotten accustomed to it fairly quickly. It’s not something I’d go crying to Stellantis about. It is what it is.

The sound really isn’t that bad. I don’t understand the hate.
I got the opportunity to compare the cold start on RHO and Gen 3 v6 Raptor back-to-back…Raptor destroyed RHO! It crackled & popped. Lots more drama. But once underway, Raptor exhaust (left in Sport mode) got a bit tiring. RHO kinda fades into a distant blat…almost sounding like the noise is coming from another car/truck.

True story: Driving my brand new RHO home from the dealer on the highway, I kept hearing this noisy exhaust. Sounded like an old V6 Chevy box truck with a blown muffler. I looked around & in my mirrors, but nothing fit the bill. Then I realized, the noise was my truck!

I’m seriously wondering about take off exhaust from a limited with Ho. Or at least the mufflers and or resonators.

I’d take near silent, any day!

The reason? This TT I6 is insanely smooth. The manual says full-throttle on highway actually improves break-in, after the 1st 60 miles. So, I floored it at 60mph. No vibration, just smooth acceleration up to 80mph.

A silent exhaust would be much more satisfying with this engine/tranny. But I get it…a sporty truck needs a sporty exhaust!

Yes ---- So many people don't understand how to break in boosted motors. After a few heat cycles of the drivetrain/gears you need to build cylinder pressure and boost to set the rings. Leave OEM oil in and let the rings wear in. Best thing would be to pull a small cargo trailer empty and vary speed on some backroad drives making you pull up small hills (boost) and then coast.

Looking forward to this truck and towing. Won't be like a diesel HD but will do better than Durango Hellcat where you can pull lower RPM's and use boost of motor to pull grades instead of needing RPMS for HP/TQ.
