Hey Everyone! I'm wondering if anyone has taking the RHO out and done some Baja / Desert running? I was thinking about doing some mods, but I'm more of a Jeep 392 guy, and not sure if the mods would make sense based off what I want to do with the RHO. Primary uses are to two my 392 and do some Baja / Desert high speed runs.

Two Items:
1. If I add 37's, do I need to buy anything else aside from larger tires? I'm particularly interested to see if there is any rubbing or if there's enough travel.
2. Do I need leveling kit?
3. If I go for the tune---does anything else need to be calibrated, tuned, tested, etc?

If you are going to be doing desert runs and upgrading to 37s i would highly recommend getting suspension specifically valved for that tire size as the factory shocks are made to work with 35 inch tires.

We will be in Baja in less than a month! Stay tuned for some content from our trip. These trucks are quite capable out of the showroom. I would suggest hitting some trails first and seeing how it performs first hand.

Yes you're going to need a leveling kit to fit 37's.

You will lose a bit of travel as well, but depending on how hard you plan on pushing it off road, this may or may not matter much.

FWIW my plan is to do the Eibach leveling springs (have them in the garage) AND do the foutz 3/4 inch rear spacer. This way I'm getting a clearance boost all around and a pretty level look.
