Here's what I've been able to track down about the RHO exhaust:

- True duals
- Sport-tuned exhaust is a flow-actuated valve that opens at wide-open throttle to minimize restriction and maximize sound
- H-pipe in the middle that makes for "more effective exhaust scavenging"
- Video below from ~6 months ago

The video makes it hard to get a good grasp of the sound. I personally am a fan of the gen 3 Raptor exhaust note. Will the flow-actuated valve in the RHO be similar to the active valve in the Raptor, or will we be missing the trombone loop? I'm assuming that there won't be any changes in the exhaust as we cycle through different drive modes. Does anyone have any other insights?

Comparing it to the TRX is apples and oranges. At WOT I thought it sounded pretty refinded. I have a TRX and it’s unmatched as sound, but a nicely tuned inline 6 sounds pretty rowdy. So I’m looking forward to what this will be and what the aftermarket can turn it into as well. Should be fun.

Count me in the camp of liking the current 3.5EB Raptor exhaust sound as well.

I anticipate liking the OEM RHO exhaust sound too.

Sometimes changing as little as a mid-pipe or adding a resonator is enough to improve the sound.

Also looking forward to aftermarket development of GESI high-flow carb approved/no check engine light downpipes. Probably good for 20-30hp based on other applications.

TTI6 HO Hurricane is the BMW S58 (M2/3/4 engine) for the masses!

I am hoping that they are still tuning the exhaust and benchmarking against the Raptor (I'm sure they are). It is likely why no one got to start it during the press event. It will sound different from what we have heard so far.
