Last evening, headed home from dinner, I noticed a Chevy pickup tailgating me. I was going over the SL, so didn’t know what to think. At the next stop light, I heard a loud V8 with open mufflers being repeatedly revved. When the light turned green, I began to make a left turn & the Chevy driver made a point of passing me close to the right under full throttle…staring at me the whole time.

I guess he showed me! Maybe he was a bit jelly & threatened by a new RHO, so he had to make the point that HIS truck had a V8? IDK.

Had the 1st C7 Z06 in San Antonio. Got a lot of positive attention…people yelling “Z06!”, as it drove by…lots of people taking pics and video with their phones. Only one negative encounter:

I full throttle passed a Jeep with an open top. I was just playing with my car, not trying to mess with anybody. A few moments later, I see him pushing his Jeep to catch & pass me. As he passed me, he threw a can & swerved across the lanes as if he were trying to hit me! He exited the highway giving me the one finger salute. I almost…almost gave follow to mess with him…not worth getting shot over. Just about everyone in TX carries a gun.

No haters yet, but a lot of looky loos. Several times on the highway someone would come up on me from the fast lane and then just sit at my 8 O'clock. When they would finally pass, I would get a thumbs up or they just stare as they pass by.

Almost robbed for my RHO in Miami.

I know there’s a lot in the news and everywhere you hear about staying safe in certain cities. So I was in Miami with my wife on I95 when I notice a group of guys in a Ford Raptor R keep looking over at me while stuck in traffic exiting to South Beach. The guy in the passenger seat just had that look about him that something was up.

First thing I did to my truck was debadge it so I'm guessing they think I'm a TRX. Immediately I hint to my wife that we should head West before going over the intercostal just to switch up our direction. I ease over to the right lane and head away from the Raptor. I thought that was it - when out of nowhere 2 guys dressed in all black with balaclavas jump out of the Raptor which is now crossed in front of me at a red light. Guns pointed at us the one taps on the window. We were boxed in so couldn't get away!

I was in so much shock and panic and because the truck is new to me, it took me a few extra seconds to fumble through the door buttons. My wife and I jump out, I give him the key fob and say take the truck.

The guy then takes a look at my seat badging and sees the RHO. He then gets angry and pops the hood and sees the twin turbos over the I6 humming away.

He throws the key fob on the ground and puts the gun to my chest. He says, "you're lucky that piece of shit truck isn't 702hp of super charged hellcat or else I would of shot you and stole your truck." He said the RHO is the biggest piece of garbage since the Cyber Truck.

Moral of the story, be careful on these streets and be glad you only ordered the RHO because it might just save your life like it did mine! /s
