Those coming from TRX to RHO, have you gotten any auto insurance quotes back and how does it compare to what you were paying with your TRX? I know the hellcat motor can drive the insurance cost up sometimes and some insurance companies wont insure it or make you store it in a garage, so I'm wondering if the RHO will be cheaper to insure. Both trucks have SIMILAR values obviously but i know the Hellcat is an inner city target. LOL

Well I’m hoping that it isn’t any more than my $215 a month stinger is.. :(

Denver insurance is expensive.

It was quite reasonable compared with my BMW X5 M50i…about $300/year less.

Both about same HP/TQ, around same price new…RHO is a bit heavier, which makes it more of a liability hazard. Expected same or more $$.

I’m happy.

OT: I just bought a Tesla Model X yesterday. Most dealers just want proof you have insurance and you have a grace period to actually add your new vehicle, but Tesla want you to submit a document showing you actually have the vehicle actively on your account before you take possession. I did not have a high degree of confidence my insurance company could make that happen by close of business yesterday, so I just did the Tesla insurance as a stop gap. Holy $hit. When I saw the quote I was like oh thats good for a 6 month policy, then realized it was monthly, lol. My insurance company actually got it all lined up for 1/4 of the Tesla policy, so I can drop the Tesla insurance immediately on Friday after I pick up the car.

It looks like my Rho will be coming in after I move to Oklahoma. I’m curious how that will impact my rate.

I was paying 88 month for full coverage on my TRX, but I am now paying 115 a month. This just happen last 6 or so months ago. Clean driving record and no accidents in the last 10 years. Been slowly going up like 5 dollars a month. Most of the increase was in collision.

For those that are registering under your business, you can get fleet vehicle Insurnace and in most cases can be cheaper that insuring under your own name. I’m going to do that with mine, I don’t have the best driving record and my Insurnace is pretty high if I put it under my name. Commercial fleet Insurnace cuts my price by more than half for a ram3500 2022.

I want to be wherever you are. I'm getting quotes back for wife and my RHO of 500-800 per month. I feel like I'm 16 with a turbo car again all these decades later, lol. Can't figure out what's up but clean record, high credit and still just trash for rates

I’m in SC and checked the cost to add the RHO to my current policy. It’s $267 for 6 months (100/200/100). It is the 4th vehicle on the policy plus I have home owners and a motorcycle policy, so I think it’s discounted some.

To add to my current policy--$265/month. Same company for 42 years with homeowners and three other vehicles also. 2 or 3 not at fault claims.

That’s insane! What state are you in? Are your limits a lot higher than mine? I know that makes a difference but almost 500% more?!

I've had better luck changing my insurance every year or two. It's a pain but worth it to me. I've been a loyal customer to Allstate for many years and all they've done was raise my premiums every year.

Florida. I'll have to check the limits to confirm. $1,000 deductible.
As an aside, my 20 year old granddaughter pays just shy of $400/month for a 2010 nissan sentra--LIABILITY ONLY. No at fault crashes.

The rates you are getting are better than mine but not much better. I forgot to include I have 500/500/300 with matching UM/UIM, No Med Pay, 1k deducts with no glass. No claims, violations or anything exciting since 2012. I've shopped over a dozen carriers and can't make any sense of it. If we have other AZ folks I'd love to compare notes, lol.

$112/mo from State Farm, with multi-car, house, discount, in the state of TX. Very low deductibles. How does that compare to others in TX or others with State Farm?

Looking to do this. What insurance company did you get fleet insurance from?

Insurance rates will be based on several things :

-age
-how long you've had drivers license
-where vehicle where be garaged
-commute either for work or personal time
-miles driven per year
-driving record
-and beleive or not...CREDIT SCORE

If you live in densely populated area that could negativity affect your rate. More drivers on the road, means bigger risk.

I was told “fleet” is considered 7 or more cars. True?

What types of businesses are you all involved in? Anyone ever done this for a car collection?
