Just saw the RHO being reviewed on TFL. They mention a full review is coming later this week with 0-60, exhaust sound, drive impressions, etc.

Finally something new. Seems like Ram may finally let media get their paws on the truck.

Here's the link -

Stay tuned for the real review!

The reviews are funny.

I've got a 2021 Limited with the 5.7 Hemi E-Torq. This truck has NO power. With the exception of literally one supercharger group (out of Australia i beleive), this motor is lackluster and sleepy. I had a V8 Raptor before this and I appreciate the rumbles and grumbles of a V8. However, it's not that important. This is like people hating and talking $hit about EV's. No sound. Go-cart. Hippie tree-hugger. Go drive a Rivian and let's talk. An EV with 1000hp is insanely fun to drive. It's different than a V8, but equally bada$$. The TRX was an awesome truck, but a daily driver that gets 8 MPG isn't for everyone. Embrace new stuff morons.

Haters going to hate.

No ones mad they offered this truck what makes people mad is they got rid of the TRX. Also they did this in such a lazy way they literally took the body, chassis, suspension, wheels, tires, mostly interior and much more from a TRX and then acted like this is some sort of an upgrade when its just not. They could’ve upgraded so many things to set it apart and they chose not to its just laziness. From what I’ve seen the sales on this truck are super low compared to the TRX and will likely be a sales failure like pretty much all of stellantis’s new vehicles.
Wth?

With that negativity, I assume you didn't place an order for an rho....

One of the things I love about my Rivian is how quiet it is. 835hp and no drama. While I like the sound of a V8, I don't always want to hear it. I don't want or need loud engine or exhaust noise drawing attention to myself. I don't want to turn up my music even louder so I can hear it over the engine. I am hoping the RHO is relatively quiet.

I hope it has a quiet mode so that it sounds like a SO Hurricane

You can hear a little of the exhaust in those videos from the Texas fair. Sounds like a turbo BMW. I am ok with that for sure.

I have lots of exposure to current I6 TT BMWs & what I heard on the state fair recordings sounds nothing like it. Sounds 99% like my neighbor’s newer Raptor.

The comments on the video make me insane. So much doom and gloom and hate for the i6. I can't wait.
Yep a lot of haters out there saying this is a weak truck, yet you have professional drivers from Ferrari and other outlets taking us on rides around a dirt course at the Texas State Fair literally telling us the TRX doesn't even compare to the agility of the RHO on jumps/dirt courses, etc. That doesn't mean the TRX is some slouch, because it's not, but this ISN'T a TRX for God's sake. It may look like a TRX, but it's not a TRX, so haters need to STFU and educate themselves on the capabilities of the RHO rather than running their toxic mouths.

Again, these are professional drivers, not opinionated and emotionally distraught little boys thinking they are the brightest person in forums, etc. The RHO is a legit badass truck and anyone that thinks differently can just see it in action for themselves, it's the real deal. The TRX always felt heavy when jumping, still highly capable, but the RHO feels way smoother, more nimble, and yes still very quick.

This is Deja Vu for me. I bought a Gen 2 Raptor in 2018 and the same stuff was going on. They will get over it, eventually. I'm guessing with a couple of minor tweaks from the after market, this truck will be regularly beating TRX's in the quarter. This motor has room to grow. Maybe that will shut them up.

Couldn’t agree more man.

Agreed. I'm hoping for some noise / engine feedback, but nothing like slamming down the accelerator in the Rivian from 0-100mph without anyone hearing. Incredible how much easier it is to stay out of trouble when the cops can't hear the engine screaming.

Do you think they should have kept the name TRX and just sub'd out the V8? That's literally what they did at Ford. Less haters? I mean for the sake of argument, a Raptor is a raptor, regardless of the V6 or V8

Could have done it the other way around, if it were 540HP first and then add a 702 option or replace with such. Can't keep same name and go backwards though (in displacement/hp) you see the trolls now imagine if they were keeping the same name?!

Found this random clip. Hard to read the side but looks like an RHO. Wondering if it's from the upcoming drive test videos (TFL mentioned jumping).
