I found this picture on Facebook, and it really scared me! If anyone has just purchased a truck, please share what security measures you plan to take. As soon as I receive mine, I will have an IGLA system installed!

My truck should arrive next month so that will be first thing done.

Yeah, I'm not getting the corelation between the pictures and it being stolen.

Let’s see…
Showing a screen that indicates the truck can’t communicate. Selling a brand new truck for $4k. In a parking lot. At night.
Okay

I posted it mainly to create awareness! I will definitely share more info regarding this photo when I get more info! Sharing with everyone what I found on Facebook.

So an error code and $4,000 deposit request indicates RHO theft? I just think it’s a scammer looking for as many someone’s as he can get to wire $4,000

If you had watched the TRX thefts for the past few years, you would recognize this kind of ad. It’s very common. Steal a truck, dump it for stupid low money the same night (using FB marketplace).

I just don’t personally believe they’re willing to turn loose of they truck (even if they do have it) for four grand deposit. It’s just reusable bait. Call it a fishing lure for idiots. The adds have been around way before the TRX was a twinkle in Rams eye.

Luckily his TRX was saved! I would recommend to all RHO owners to install IGLA/Ravelco as soon as you get your truck.

I'm for sure throwing on the side bed decals to let it be known I have an RHO and not TRX 😂

Ravelco is like taking hundreds of dollars and setting it on fire. I think we are all gonna have to bite the bullet and get Ampire or IGLA. I've been talking with engineers at Ampire and gonna bite the bullet and try to install on my own. I'll post the epic failure or success after. IGLA is awesome, I just don't like the way they do business and apparently, I love headaches.

I'm not familiar with any of these anti theft systems or the companies that sell them. What don't you like about IGLA's business model?
