Rumble Wraps Decals

There seems to be some disappointment with Apex decals here lately, specifically with decals that have show up wrinkled or damaged and Aepx being non responsive to some people on the customer service side.

I ordered decals from Rumble Wraps last week and they just arrived at my doorstep. My truck is not yet in my possession but wanted to throw up some photos of the decals and experience so far.
There is some wrinkling in the corner of the hood graphic that was delivered (also photographed below). Rumble Wraps specifically states that "Minor wrinkles on edges are nothing to cry about. They will install just fine" This is what the packaging states which I think is hilarious. Good sense of humor. I'll have to wait it out to see if this will apply okay whenever my truck is actually delivered, but I will be taking it to an installer.

I have ordered the same decal kit for my truck. I personally am not worried in the least. However, I am going to have Troy himself install my graphics when my truck arrives. I ask him not to ship them to me just hang onto them. I am also going to have him do a matte wrap overlay on the diamond black lowers so that they match the bumpers and defender flares. It will be my first road trip in the truck.

I also ordered the hood decal and mine arrived yesterday. Carefully wrapped with the same box inside of a box design. Also had a nice handwritten thank you note from Troy. Seems like a very classy operation!!

I wonder if the decal in front of the hood scoop is Matte Black or Satin Black? Kinda want that to match.

Mine came in yesterday as well. The PPF place that took the OEM sticker off to PPF the hood ordered the Rumble Wrap at my request. They were super impressed with the packaging and it was in perfect condition. They are going to install it on top of the PPF then ceramic coat over it. Pictures once it’s done

The decal for front of hood scoop is included also! So they’re sure to match! I’d go with the matte to be closest to factory

I think it's really easy to fix at the shipping stage:
Just wrap the entire decal in an additional layer of paper that is larger than the decal. This way, the extra paper will wrinkle instead of the decal.

It's ridiculous that this is being sold as normal.

That’s exactly how it is shipped already. At least in my case with hood and bedside decals.
