I searched a few terms but didn’t see a thread dedicated to Pets re: Pet Safety, Seat Protection etc products and options. Saw a thread or two in the TRX forum, and was hoping to learn and see options for:

1. Back seat covers e.g. like the cover craft or others than can easily be added / removed
2. Front seat protection e.g. any dog hammocks that have worked
3. Tactical storage options
4. Door covers if not part of the hammock option
5. Anyone ceramic coat inside of back windows
6. Other cool ideas for long road trips with dogs?

I have 2 Aussies, pictured, and a German Shepard on the way. If you know, you know…so trying to preserve as much of the back as I can with quality and “Aussie tested” product.

Any of this type of accessory vendors on this forum?

Thanks in advance!! And apologies if I missed an existing thread, please point me to it!

Good lookin Aussies. I traveled everywhere with my, now passed, GSD and found that WeatherTech has quite a few useful items; including seat covers, door covers, and partitions.

I have the WeatherTech rear seat covers in two vehicles, including my RHO. Fit very well, easy on and off and look good. Very happy with them.

You're a better man than I. I'm beyond over dog hair and scratches inside the vehicle. I'm going this route (https://gunner.com/) for longer commutes and have a Julius-K9 cobra buckled harnesses that they'll be strapped into for putzing around town. I did get a softopper with rear window delete, and puppy window in middle so they can join us in the cabin...in a fashion.

The Carhartt seat covers whilst not sexy, are extremely durable and it's what I've done in the past. It just does nothing to help with the hair being imbedded in every nook and cranny, plus headliner and scratches on console.

I just purchased from Team K9 same harnesses with the same putzing around idea. Thanks for the gunner suggestion.

Found a great product that I swear by for the hair - and trust me it’s everywhere!!! Lilly Brush Mini Pet Hair... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0764MC2ZH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I am going to look at the Carhartt - thanks for suggestion.

Thanks any pics that you may have? Thanks for suggestion.

Thank you for the compliment and for the suggestions. I am sitting on this right now, Ruff Liners Truck Back Seat Cover... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C872JVDW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

but I think I will need to cover the seat as well! WeatherTech was on my list. Maybe I should join those YouTubers and do a comparison - my models can definitely give any product a run for its money!!!

Do the seat bottoms go up like the ford? I like to give the pooch the whole floor !

We are still confirming with them, but their TRX covers should be a cross fit. Yes, these are seat covers.

Am I looking at this right? Only can buy the set? As in cannot purchase something just for the back? How easy is the install and removal for that matter? Would not mind something like this underneath the dog hammock as the 100% protection.

This one works OK (see attachment). The “floor” is semi-rigid, but tilts a bit when my pup moves forward (the front panel is a bit too long, even with the front headrest straps fully tightened).

We have a similar “sling” type arrangement in my wife’s car which uses pockets that fit over the headrests & is much easier to install & remove. But hers doesn’t come in XL & it does not have side panel upper straps, so my pup can paw them down.

My pup rides with a harness & seatbelt strap that plug into the center seatbelt buckle.

Correct, for some reason, they do not sell them individually. Were you able to see the video in the link we posted above showing the install?
