Anyone fide power side steps for this truck yet ...Help!

I want the Amp XL but they said they don't make it for it yet and no timeline yet...

some good forum feedback here in this thread (although lots to read) https://www.ram-rho.com/threads/the-great-running-board-dilemma.284/post-18545

.... sounds like the Mopar Power Steps - with dealer install to finish the wiring/connector changes are working out for power boards .... or there are aftermarket options (which have magnet mounted door switches from Go Rhino, Rough Country and a few others (check RealTruck). or see what @Nick797 might be aware of.

a few guys mentioned trying the AMPs ... and having connector/wiring issues (maybe a quick search on the forum you can find the specifics - im going from memory)

Rough Country or Go Rhino Electric boards will work, they use magnets while it is not as clean as most it is an option.

AMP/Go Rhino, should be within 60-90 days from what I have heard.

Also right now the Westin ones will work & are in stock.

from your experience, which of these 2 would you recommend?

I went with the rough country, so far so good. They are very well hidden when not deployed and come with a on and off switch for off roading.

How was install? Did you have to drill through the floor?

Rough Country Dollar for dollar. I can save you a few dollars on either or if you decide to go that route.

I had a local shop do it, I'm not sure about the drilling through the floor. They had to run the on and off switch, so they might have.

I'm assuming the RC steps don't mate up with Uconnect?

Do both of these boards have to drill through the floor for install? Don’t really want to do that.

how much did they charge for install?

I have the Rough Country running boards and you dont have to drill thru the floor. There is a plastic plug in the floor that you can drill thru that.

Install is pretty straight forward. The boards themself are the easy part. The wiring to the magnets is what takes time. I installed myself. Shout out to RC. Their customer service is great!

I also purchased the RC electric bed cover. Works just as well as my Roll-n-lock electric cover on my dually for almost half the cost and also has the T slot track to add a rack with the cover.

What are you guys getting for an installed price for the Mopar power steps? My dealer seems a bit high i wanted to see if they are out of line or if it's a good price.

It was 1400 all together with install.
The Mopar power steps are $1600-$1900, just for the part. The dealer cost is $1300. Plus 2 hours labor. How the heck did you only pay $1400 all in??
