Some interesting content…what got my attn was the mention of not shipping new vehicles to dealers until inventory levels go down to a manageable level…

Interesting. If so, will confirmed down payment orders not be produced either? Many have indicated their desire and ability to purchase the RHO by places like Mark Dodge and placed money down?

That makes sense but NOT for SOLD orders. We are sold orders.

100% this ^^^^

The dealership franchise model is largely impacted by unsold inventory but, only when it isn't moving or moving slowly. SOLD orders, assuming they indeed do sell, are not subject to the same issue, as it is a fairly seamless transaction (on the books). Essentially a sold custom order is money in pocket, and very much the vehicles you want to be producing...unless there is a known issue, at which point all sorts of fancy math, like cost of delay and such come into play. The other side of the coin is a clever CEO could, but very much shouldn't manipulate the 4th quarter to very much line his own pockets. Maybe I'm just hoping they go gangbusters last quarter so I can recoup some lost duckets ;)

Great point about the fourth quarter.

I hope sold orders aren’t impacted, but it’s all just guesses at this point.

I can see them stopping 2025 shipments until the 2023 & 2024 inventory is gone. The YouTuber mentioned Ram trucks as far as the eye could see. Guessing price is what is keeping those Rams on the lot, and many local dealers here in PHX think the pandemic & vehicle shortages are still in play…HA!

Of course, all vehicle sales are down. The money is running out…inflation has taken its toll on the average American.

Good time to buy, if you can find a dealer who will “show their cards” & you have cash.

Huh?

They can't strike, but they aren't happy so there will be some "SHAME ON THEM" posters n such outside SHAP. A minor inconvenience. If Stellantis tries to move some manufacturing North, it would be violation of their signed agreement and then all bets would be off. Surely, they've learned a lesson though...surely ;) In all seriousness, unless they were trying to tank the stock, it is a non-issue. Keep calm and carry on.

This site is not monitored by RAM..

Between the inventory excess, the dock workers strike, and who knows what else, we're all gonna be buying the new 2027 RHO, before the new 2025 RHO shows up....

I meant as an admin

I hope they can watch and see what's going on here, that would be good for all of us.

I heard Ram Cares is a joke but hey maybe that's just what I heard.

On the 5th Gen forum, RamCares stepped in and asked that we cease-and-desist posting data from the UAW 1700 page (such as shift schedules). They said it is “proprietary” information lol.
We could have told them to pound sand, as it is publicly available information. But we decided not to pick a fight with them - there is a relationship to maintain.
