I ordered the Timber Grove air bags without the compressor, I don't mind airing up when I need to. Install was super tight, I ended up trimming a little off the pass side bracket as I felt it would rattle on the exhaust, routing the air lines was probably the biggest challenge but did what I feel was a nice job utilizing the frame and channels in the body. Reading through the instructions TG specifies you need to run a minimum of 5 psi in the bags at all times which adds 1.5-2" of additional lift in the rear creating a terrible stink bug rake to the truck & if you run zero psi the bags bottom out terribly, so that doesn't work. Yesterday I pulled my 30' toy hauler @ a little with 40 psi in the bags & they definitely do what they are supposed to, but at the expense of limiting up travel when empty I'm not sure what I'm going to do as I bought this truck for more of the offroad purpose, but with light towing on the weekends, mainly snowmobile trailer & SxS trailer, the toy hauler was just a test! Just wanting to give a little info to those of you planning to go this route as well.

Thanks, good to know. I ordered a set that came last week but haven't looked at them yet. I remember seeing the thing about the rear sitting higher, hopefully not too bad. I will tow way more than go offroad. The tow squat was the only downside to going with the RHO, but then again I had to put them on my last 1500's as well.

How long did the install take you and where did you put the valve? I wasn't planning on doing a compressor.

The rear rake is high enough that my Eibach leveling springs will be here this week, lol! The install took @ 2 hrs, but this was on the creeper & not in a big hurry, I spent more time routing the air lines than installing the bags, I put the valve just to the side of the camera jacks in the bumper, I pulled the spare out to make life a little easier. I went down to my shop yesterday & put the truck on my lift & went over everything again, adjusted the bags thinking maybe the lack of up travel was install error on my end, but they definitely still limit up travel significantly. I guess it's just the compromise one will have to make if they plan to tow regularly.
