A good tinter is an artist in my book...
I got the best they offer, including the windshield and sunroof.Mind sharing cost? Tiny chance I could be up in the high desert visiting family would be curious just in case it’s better than what I can find out here in Escondido.
If you are going to do ceramic then do it on all the windows, and if concerned about the darkness, you can do a lighter tint on back or have them remove factory tint. The IR Nanoceramic is the magic, but if you don't do them all you WILL have a noticeable temperature difference in the cab. My 2 centsDo you know or have an opinion on how dark the rear doors and back windows are tinted from the factory?
I am debating whether to just do the front driver and passenger windows or all of them. If they come pretty dark from the factory just do the front doors with ceramic for $200 and be done! No sunroof on mine
I’ll be watching for the results. What percentages are you going with?I got the best they offer, including the windshield and sunroof.
It was $940 + tax.
Nothing better than those beadlocks. Great looking RHO!!A good tinter is an artist in my book...

Take it back to your installer, maybe they messed alignment of the window seal.@RADA notice any difference with wind / road noise after tint? Keep debating if it's in my head or not.
It all comes down to heat rejection and privacy..I’ve never had tint beyond factory tint before. Never even heard of ceramic tint/film for windows before I got on this forum. Can anyone give me a crash course on regular tint vs ceramic tint vs ceramic non-tint? Thanks in advance!
Dammit!! I thought I was done after getting PPF and ceramic coating! Back to the detail shop I’ll be heading!! Thankfully I can take my sweet time though. With snow on the ground, I don’t need heat rejection for a while! It all comes down to heat rejection and privacy..
Regular tint.. gives you privacy and mild heat rejection.
Ceramic tint.. gives you privacy and excellent heat rejection.
Ceramic non tint.. heat rejection and no privacy
Since I made the switch to Ceramic, I'll never go back. The cost might be double but worth it. I park my vehicle outside, and in the summer, I notice a big difference inside the cabin and the AC works much better.
I’d ask to see a sample of the tint before you make a decision. Had ceramic installed on my TRX’ fronts and it didn’t match the factory rears. It wasn’t even close. Had it removed. Ended up going with a different brand and carbon to get the closest match.Do you know or have an opinion on how dark the rear doors and back windows are tinted from the factory?

What brand tint did you use? We are having Xpel do our tint and ppf Monday. Their most “clear” for the windshield and 20% for the front side.
