Tool Boxes

What tool boxes (if any) are you planning on using? I will be using a tonneau cover (EGR Rollbac manual, most likely). I'm thinking of the Swing Case Tool Box. My understanding is they fit under tonneau covers but may intrude with hauling plywood, although they remove quickly. Thoughts? I'd also like to mount my 2 1/2 ton aluminum jack in the bed someplace if anyone has any suggestions.

I have the swing cases in my TRX and they work great under my Retrax bed cover. With the gate down I dont even have to touch the cover and the cases swing out for easy access. They are plastic and not the toughest thing out there but they work great for the gear I keep in them, and like you already mentioned they come out quickly if the bed space is needed. The only complaint I would even have is that the driver side case made getting to the switch for the bed lights difficult but not impossible. I believe the new 2kW onboard power connections are in that same spot on the RHO

Cool. Yeah they don’t look to be very tough but functional. Do you have the bed utility group with the bars and tie down cleats?

I believe you’re correct on the 2kW location but I won’t have that to deal with.

If you don’t have loose items, and just want to lash off some gear, Molle panels could be an option for you. Or even a combination of swing case on one side and Molle on the other.
