Not sure the "proper name" for them, sorry if I got it wrong...

I've got a local friend who owns a powder coating business.

Thinking of powder coating the Tow Loops Emergency Red or Green, or Safety Orange.

Jeep Wrangler tow points are red, and it looks good. Orange is a Raptor R thing, so I'm leaning towards Red or Green

Tow "hooks." A lot of guys do it. Red is pretty popular, especially on a white truck. Good luck.

Ya know....

I know it's a Ford thing, but I'm leaning towards the Safety Orange....

...Think it will POP against the Forged Blue.

We did the “red” covers. It’s a nice little accent in the sea of black.

not necessarily a tow hook - but kinda thought this was a cool tie-down option, given the RHO mantra - (unless you are considering a bed cover)

That looks pretty good! Did you have them powdercoated or literally just get covers for them?
Just rubber/vinyl covers. I’ll probably get em powder coated but wanted to make sure we like it.

If you are going to go off-road and use your hooks, I'd prob just hand paint them yourself. Powder coating won't survive use and they are easy to touch up often.

I agree...

But I am not gonna lie; she'll be more of a pavement princess than a trail runner...

My lower back can't take much of the off-road lifestyle.

Hell, some days, it can't take much of the suburban on-road lifestyle...

These trucks ride so smooth offroad you may consider it!

The front hooks look like a bear to remove...
The rear tow hooks are easy to remove. The front hooks have one super-long bolt that scares a lot of people (runs up through the frame and into an engine mount or something like that). I haven’t taken the front hooks off myself, just going from what I’ve seen on the TRX forum.
Red duct tape can be your friend lol

If the bolt is that long, there's no way to get it past the bumper.

If I have to remove the whole front bumper to unbolt the tow hooks, this idea is DOA...

Maybe the RHO is different due to the revised bumper and skid plate. But on the TRX, they could be removed by simply dropping the skid plate.
Just found an old thread from the TRX forum on it. The thing about those front long bolts was that there’s a keeper on the end. So you have to beat the bolt out which destroys the keeper.
