Can anyone here verify the $1k Truck Month incentive can be locked to a sold order, even if delivery is a few months out? I’ve seen conflicting information on this, just curious if anyone has done it successfully. How would a dealer verify this if so?

Also, if incentives improve by time of delivery, can you swap from the $1k locked incentive to the ones available at delivery time?

Thanks!

Dealer just called back and confirmed the $1k would lock to sold order. Sweet!

Let’s just hope for some better incentives and/or applicable TDMs at time of delivery!

Intreresting. My deal with Koons was very clear that I was buying at our negotiated price and that incentives in play at the time I purchased it (i.e. after delivery) would be adjustments from that price. Not saying one is better than the other - but that was my deal and I assume everyone else's that ordered from them.

For all rebates currently on Rams EXCEPT for the conquest, they are lockable to a factory order.
This means you retain access to them even if expired, and then can choose between order date or delivery date which group you want to use in end.
There are steps that the dealer must take to record and verify this, and there are a thousand ways to screw it up.

The conquest rebate is NOT lockable meaning if you are ordering now, ignore it. If your truck is coming IN now, you can use it alongside the other "today" rebates.

Appreciate you @AnthonyRI. Stuff like this is why I chose your dealership to spend my money.

Love it. Thanks Anthony!

This honestly wasn't a big deal for me - the only thing I was eligible for was the $1,000 that everyone else was eligible for. If I got it - fine. If not - no big deal. But, it is nice to be able to choose the better of the two options.

I would bet that 80% of the time, rebates at delivery are better than time of order, just given general patterns, anyhow.

Anthony can you clarify for my situation:

2 trucks on order, both are built and waiting for shipping.
First truck was ordered without the conquest entered in. I assume I still need to own it when the RHO arrives at your dealership? Or is a photo of my title still acceptable?
The second truck was ordered with the Conquest rebate entered. I received an offer yesterday to sell it to a local Ford dealership. If I sell it tomorrow, will I be ineligible for the rebate when the RHO arrives at MD?

Regardless of any of the timing and recording at time of order, you need to still own the conquest when the RHO is sold
