What's new

TRX Allocation and RHO up to $9,000 off MSRP!

If I had paid 124K MSRP or more on the 2024 Final Edition TRX, only to have a 2026 (improved?) edition 2 years later, I would be pissed if it killed my resale value on the 2024.

As a 2026 RHO owner, I don't think the higher price and tougher allocation process for the new TRX will hurt the RHO value. In fact, it could enhance the overall sale and resale of RHOs.
Agree. RAM's pricing and allocation strategy with the "new" TRX solidifies the two super truck market segments - RHO competes against F-150 Raptor Ecoboost and TRX competes against the Raptor R. Not sure that's by design or just an afterthought of greed (extracting six-figures out of those who want the Apex Predator).

Let me play my broken record again - There's nothing I could do in a TRX that I can't do in my RHO, other than lose a drag race to the truck that looks exactly like mine :)

On another note, Chevy is nowhere to be seen in this market. And I doubt we will see many RHO owners switch to the Toyota Hammer, if and/or when it's released.

I mean, this is pretty much how most of us expected the new TRX to happen.

People thinking that they were going to put down their $1k deposit with Mark Dodge, wait a couple months, then pick up their new TRX for $12k off MSRP, just wasn't realistic.

I just got $72k on my level 1 and didn’t have to work very hard for that number. I broke even after owning it 5 months which I look at as a win.

You never know until you see the numbers. I’d rather be hopeful than pessimistic

I think in time it will eventually happen. But now that we know it's based on a dealership allocation basis, it will take more time and effort.

Plenty of people willing to pay full MSRP or more for the new TRX. Especially "content creators".

Me 🙋🏼‍♂️ I mean depending on what it actually looks like when it releases. But so far I like what I see.

I had a 2017, 2021 and a 2026 3.5 liter Raptor, I just traded it in on a 2029 RHO, couldn't be any happier, the RHO rides better, smoother faster, alot quieter. The RHO is wider and taller. The inside of the SHO is must more refined then the 26 Raptor, Ford needs to get their game on with the interior.

I've wondered for years if Chevy will ever bring a real contender to the table - they have the powertrain for it! The actual Corvette powered truck would be amazing, but oh well.

The way Stellantis has explained the allocation to me seems to be the most fair way of doing it. Dealers will get a percentage of TRX production based on their percentage of national light duty ram sales. This means that the bigger dealerships who have experience doing sold orders and have the logistical infrastructure will get more units which will also make the guys looking to sell way over MSRP get less units and should kind of balance the market to make it actually reasonable and fair to get one of these trucks. At least that is my understanding and my hope for how this plays out.

We just had our monthly allocation and ordering call with Stellantis. They have pushed back TRX allocation until June. I was hoping to be able to give some insight into what TRX allocation and production would look like, but unfortunately we all have to wait another month. If you want to get on our TRX list, please let me know. We will be ordering trucks in the same order as people apply to be on our intenders list unitl all of our allocation is gone.

Do you think this also puts a delay on 2027 RHO options/ordering?

The info we got didn't make it feel that way. There is a good amount of production on 2026 RHO still left and we weren't told there would be any hold up on 2027 when we start ordering those next month.

Ohhh that gives me some info to go on if 2027 orders are open next month. Any chance you can tell me when we'll know what colors are available for 2027 RHO's?

That was not discussed on the call today. Normally that info is given in the same month things open for orders.

I swear if they do a spitfire orange RHO to go with the trx color pallette. I may think of reordering, I do love my serrano green though it's level 0.
Already told my wife I'd be trading in if they release orange RHO...she actually agreed! 😆
