Just curious on y’all’s opinion for the Diablo Cat 6 or the JB4 Tune. Thinking of possibly tuning my baby, and trying to see if I can get some Pros and Cons, maybe any issues they’ve ran into from anyone that’s tuned theirs already. Thanks!!!

The Cat 6 is a piggy back tuner so in theory once removed should be factory since it doesn’t alter the ECU. not sure Stellantis engineers would pull other vehicle data, so I feel like you could deny it if engineering went that far which they probably wouldn’t. You never know these days though. I also have a 10yr max care warranty on it, but I really want to pull the triggerFollowing …

This 100%.My hope is they do what Ford did with the Raptor line and offered a factory tune for under 1k that maintaned the warranty. I keep wanting to pull the trigger on the cat 6 but I also bought the extended warranty so have a bit more on the line if found and denied a claim.
Yeah im in the same boat. Power is excellent in this truck. I see no reason to potentially void warranty over minimal gains. I feel like if you want more power its a cheaper route to buy a used trx and/or build it to 800+ hp if you want gobs of power. can score a 21 or 22 trx for 60k and have it to 800 hp for a cheap.I must be an old Nancy boy. I've never stomped on it and thought "man this 6000 lb truck really needs more"
Just to add here are some items that will validate factory and extended warranties. All Common Sense. Copied from my extended Warrantyi'm in the same boat. I REALLY want the CAT6......but my truck was in the shop for 7 weeks. Ram did compensate me with a 100K max care warranty and some cash. With all I've been through I don't want to void my warranty.
I know the risks of modification I work in the automotive service industry currently and for the last nine years. I’m just looking for insight on people that have tuned theirs already and how they like it or dislike those two options. It has a ton of power already, was just curious how people were liking itJust to add here are some items that will validate factory and extended warranties. All Common Sense. I'm really enjoying the Cat 6 on mine.I know the risks of modification I work in the automotive service industry currently and for the last nine years. My truck on 37s and the tire set up I have now have weighed it her down a ton, though she still gets it. I’m curious how she would do if a decide to tune her a littleTo do 0-60 under 4 seconds in these trucks is so inviting. I mean….being it on man! My coworker has a 1500 HP GTR. Even with its absurd performance even he is impressed a truck this size, 35’s and all has the potential to post a 0-60 in the 3’s.
Perhaps in 7 years when my warranty is up I can finally partake in the madness.
Yeah a 6000+ lb truck doing 4 second 0-60 is more than adequate for me! Makes me smile!!To do 0-60 under 4 seconds in these trucks is so inviting. I mean….being it on man!
