Does all the stock suspensions feel like you don't have shocks at all on low speed bumps ??? It feels like its kinda "bouncing" a couple times when you hit a sharp little bump ?? Is that how they all are, or just mine ??? It seems like its ok on bigger bumps but the small ones just feel weird.

Yes, it’s pretty bouncy. When I drop off the curb from my driveway onto the street my truck bounces 4-5x. It’s not harsh, it just doesn’t seem to control rebound as strongly as other (stiffer) trucks I’ve had. I do keep mine in street mode. Baja is too bouncy for me on normal roads.

Yeah, like the shocks aren't working !! I'm glad somebody else's does it too !! I went to my dealer today to ask about it and they looked at me like i was crazy and didn't know what the fuck i was talking about !! "Its an offroad truck with stiff suspension " Thats bullshit !!! Its a 100,000 dollar truck with a high tech suspension SYSTEM !! It should work ALL the time, not only when your flying it in the dunes !!!!!

Yeah, I feel like it bottoms up and hits hard sometimes. That’s on top of the bouncing.

I was planning on asking the dealer but I guess I’ll get the same look. Sucks because we might have to end up with some Icon or King once they make them to replace the crap they put on this truck. Hate to pay $85K ++ and have to spend another $10K for a suspension worth the truck.

Or you could just keep the Bilsteins Blackhawks. Learn to adjust suspension settings with drive modes, and have really good ride on and off road in slow or fast driving conditions.

I think its the tires and the really tall sidewalls. I had 20" wheels on my 19 with I think 45 profile, The suspension was faster. I dont think its the shocks.

I can assure you it’s not that. I had the same wheels and tires (stock TRX takeoffs) on my 2020 Laramie which I had leveled with Bilstein 5100s. That truck was overall a lot stiffer, but no bounce after hitting a bump. The tradeoff there was that I felt the bumps and hard hits were jarring. My RHO is bouncy on slow bumps, but seems to soak them up when at speed. I haven’t felt a jarring hit on anything as of yet.

Yes !!! Small bumps at lower speeds !!! Feels good with bigger bumps and higher speeds ! For what we paid for these trucks, there's no reason for this tho... Should be able to soak up small as well as big !!!!!

put your suspension in Sport mode. The standard Street setting is the problem. Rides like an old Cadillac in street suspension.
That’s the perfect description. Old Cadillac feel.

Question, if we put it in sports mode is it like the Raptor that you can change the suspension modes without changing the driving mode? Is am still learning this truck so I really don’t know.

The Raptor one can change the two independently and I thought the RHO you can’t?

Yes. I set up my “Custom” mode to be the same as Auto, but with the Sport suspension setting.
So then all you have to do is toggle to Custom when you get in the truck. On the TRX, that’s one button press (right arrow below the TRX button - I assume it’s the same on RHO). And once the Tazer is available for the RHO, it will remember the drive setting when you start. So for me, I don’t even have to think about it anymore.

You can also customize the Auto setting this way. But the truck forgets it occasionally and reverts back to Cadillac suspension.

Yes ! I just figured that out tonite ..... Sport is better feeling driving but then steering is stiff. i figured a custom setting with sport suspension and auto steering would be about the best match !! But do the differen't drive modes affect the gas milage (like changing how the engine runs) ?

That would be only if you vhangd your transmission mode.

I mentioned it and yes it was almost 6 months ago but you can make auto mode custom. Just change to sport suspension in auto and it will stay that way when you start truck without having to change modes.

For steering, I prefer ROCK. It’s the loosest steering. Sport is crazy stiff.

Sport is the stiffer suspension. It’s still not stiff, but sound like more of what you’re looking for. I moved between sport and street, and ended up sticking with street.

Transmission for me is street unless I feel like burning extra gasoline. Sport and Baja are fun in the right environments, but I wouldn’t think either are good for MPG in normal driving since they hold RPMs so high.

Mine was the exact same way. We have "rolled" curbs and the truck would "bounce" like a boat in the water lol. I will say after the 2" lift collar and the ride height sensor links, the truck only bounces like once, then stiffens up now, yet still performs like normal in the dirt.

Kings are already available. Check out Thuren fab on Instagram. He has kings and it's BA. Also, Bobby at Zona Installed some awesome ADS suspension. I'd like to go that route too, but you're right. $10k for suspension is a bit steep, but still not out of the question.

Agree with many here.

I put the car in Custom which is everything the same as Auto except the suspension is in Sport only. IMO this is the best way to drive on normal streets.

I will experiment with the Rock steering though.
