2025+ RAM 1500 RHO Reverse Light Setup

We recently put together this reverse light setup for the new RHO. It adds two 20W PRO pods to the rear of the truck, giving you a much wider view when backing up in the dark.

The kit uses bolt-on brackets, so there's no need to cut into anything or make permanent changes. You can also choose amber or red backlighting, with wiring options for turn signals or brake lights.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Here's the full setup:

For the RHO owners who haven't seen this setup yet, we added a couple of 20W PRO pods to the rear to help with visibility when backing up at night.

The bolt-on brackets keep the install clean, and you can go with either amber or red backlighting depending on how you'd like to wire them.

Here's a closer look at the PRO Reverse Light Pods:

Curious what you guys think of this setup.

Is this the same one that has been for sale for a while on your site? Or is this an updated version? If updated, what has changed?

Hello, we currently have only one reverse kit for the RAM 1500. It uses two 20W PRO pods with a flood beam for wider rear visibility. The kit also has bolt-on brackets and amber or red backlighting options.

What model is the Hopkins harness to use them through the tow harness?

Sorry, I read the initial post that it was "New". So this is the same one that you have had for a while, not a new model of it, with different lights etc.

I just misread it as it was something new, as in a recent change or addition.

I have been looking at this for a while and seems like a good product, which is why I wondered if there had been a change to it. This is on my future to do list.

Can they be wired to activate in reverse and on an aux switch? I know someone that doesn't like tailgaters

We actually moved away from the Hopkins adapter for this setup because it can make the truck think a trailer is connected and disable the rear parking sensors. We recommend using the factory AUX wiring instead.

Yes, it can be wired to come on in reverse and also be controlled from an AUX switch. You'd just need to set it up with a relay so either signal can trigger the lights.

No worries at all! And yeah, it's still the same setup with the two 20W PRO pods. Glad to hear it's on your list, definitely let us know if you have any questions when you're ready for it.

What would be the easiest way to wire them to just auto turn on when in reverse?

The easiest way would be to tap the reverse lights directly. If you use a trailer hitch wiring, the truck will think that you ahve a trailer connected and deactivate rear backup sensors and lane change assist sensors
