Stupid question…but close bed cover and then close tailgate or close tailgate and then close bed cover?

I have tried both ways and it works ok. Logic tells me closing tailgate first is right way to do it, but I do it both ways.

What model Armordillo is that? Been wondering if the bed cover and chase rack can coexist. My bed cover is gator but looks the same as yours, I have an extra one still in the box if anyone is interested and in Georgia.

I always close cover first and then the tailgate. The weatherstrip trains itself for whatever method you choose. Handy that way to just pop the tailgate and through something in the box without having to mess with the cover.
