Will the market ever support the RHO the same way they do the Raptor EcoBoost?

Is there anyone out there with some insider knowledge (I'm married, so I'm fluent in vague) as to whether the RHO is ever going to see the kind of aftermarket support the EcoBoost Raptor does? When will we have our GooseTuned equivalent show up, Ram-style?

I say this out of frustration because if they offered an ECU unlock, I would quickly add the downpipes and exhaust, then salivate over the improved turbos that would surely follow. I may actually go to SEMA this year, so maybe something will be announced there? Do any of our forum sponsors have information they can share?

I really do like my RHO. However, I enjoy building out platforms even more. I've been watching KIES, as they have the HO Hurricane in the Charger, and I saw that they may be working on a turbo upgrade. However, they're going with a piggyback for tuning. The piggyback is good, but you can't make enough adjustments to timing and fueling to achieve significant gains while maintaining an adequate margin of safety for the engine and drivetrain.

I'm on the verge of selling mine and going with a TRX or Raptor R. I've made all kinds of cosmetic upgrades, and the truck is beautiful. However, I've been holding off on the exhaust and downpipes until I have more information on the other upgrades. I don't feel like dumping money into a truck I'm just going to sell.

@American_Enigma I'm certainly not an insider but I've seen in multiple outlets that Direct Connection will be announcing an upgrade at SEMA so you can probably fill us in. As I suspected and as you can see on @Eighty thread the RHO builds have really fallen off since the TRX has resumed production. Don't know how long that will last but the Charger isn't selling at all with the hurricane motor and Grand Cherokee sales fell off a cliff with the 2.0 Hurricane as the only option.

There's a lot of folks on here who extol the virtues of the Hurricane over the Hemi and I truly respect their opinions but I think the market is speaking loud and clear. Stellantis is putting Hemis back in everything as fast as they can as the stock nears the $4.00 tipping point. We'll have to see how much DC is willing to invest in Hurricane upgrades in lieu of the 5.2, 5.7, 6.2, 6.4, and the rumored three different versions of the 7.0.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm really happy for everyone who likes the 3.0 but I'm not putting too many upgrades into my RHO as I wait for the rumored Trackhawk or Ramcharger in 2028. If neither of those materialize or they utilize the Hurricane HO rather than the Hemi then I'll start looking at a DC upgrade to my RHO. But I don't think Stellantis has a choice IMHO and at least the Ramcharger will offer a variety of Hemi options.
