2026 Ram announcements a 825hp TRX SRT Truck? Mustang Legend over 1000hp? Industry updates NEW CEO

I think alot of this thread is people wishful thinking. TRX's sold like shit near the end, and probably made Ram almost no money. Stellantis is in no position to do passion projects for the hell of it.

If there even is one released at all, it's probably just going to be an even higher output version of the Hurricane with 37 inch tires or something stupid.

With how well the RHO is selling, they have little to no incentive to spend a fortune to R&D and release some whole new 800hp v8 TRX that is going to be 130k that almost no one will buy. It makes absolutely zero sense from a financial standpoint. It's too high risk when theres 100 other, safer things they could do with their money that offer a guaranteed return.

Automakers are trying to simplify and streamline their lineup and offerings, not complicate them.

I hope I'll have to eat these words one day, but I don't think I will.

I’m hopeful they’ll offer some sort of factory tune for the RHO similar to how Ford does with the Ranger Raptor. More power from the already stout I6, and under warranty?? Yes please.

Do you have any data to back up that RHO is selling well and TRX didn’t?

That would shock me, quite frankly… but I’ll trust the data if you have it.

My buddy has the Ranger Raptor on the Factory Procal tune...absolute monster. Throws you back in the seat harder than the RHO...with the weight diff, it pulls neck and neck. Wild shit for a mid sized truck.

I believe TFL on YouTube did a drag race with the RHO vs the Ranger Raptor with tune, F150 Raptor, and Raptor R. RHO won all easily except for the Raptor R of course.

Yeah. I had been looking at a gen 3 Raptor with some mild curiosity in the RHO up until I saw that video, then the RHO kind of became a no brainer... Especially with the big time dealer discounts on custom orders. Patiently waiting for the 2026 switch over so I can start planning my eventual trip to Mark Dodge to pick it up. Hopefully all the June 8th reveals don't shove RHO production onto the back burner for the next 8-9 months.

Nope, I should have mentioned I have no actual hard data- just anecdotal. I've probably already seen more RHO's on the road than I ever have TRX's. Also, if you noticed, the TRX final editions sat on lots for a very long time (I think you can actually still find them brand new) Also, based off the sale price alone, I'm sure the RHO is doing much better numbers than the TRX ever did.

I'd be curious to talk to a dealership like Mark Dodge and ask what they're seeing with RHO order volume vs. TRX.

No data either, but the RHO's I was looking at got sold before I could buy them, so maybe they are selling well.

I pulled some numbers posted from the TRX on first year sales and what RHO had done in about 10 months and original TRX year was significantly higher. I’ll have to find the thread again… but think it was around 3x.

Now that RHO production is finally rolling, maybe that gap will close… but I think there was a pretty clear difference in initial market interest. Keep in mind TRX launch was also $70k, like the RHO… and that changed pretty quick in the first couple of years.

Had to dig a bit. Here’s the thread I’d created a while back.

Did anyone notice the guy next to the Ram CEO is one of the diesel brothers? Maybe 825 refers to the torque rating of a new, high efficiency Cummins for the HD trucks.

I'd figure they slap in the demon motor really blow it out after tricking everyone with "last TRX" ha
The way mopar crapped on the last TRX owners and Hell cat owners is a horrible way to do mopar fans, who are now never going to forget the kick in the rump mopar done to them. I for one, a die hard mopar fan with a new truck and ordered 2021 Hell cat still having it. When I see what they have done to the last year Hell cat buyers its pathetic!

Im thinking this may be a bust? We still have 3 days before the official statement....so was the Hemi announcement getting everyone else ready for the next one?

That’s wild. Here in the Phoenix area I’ve seen 1 RHO on the road and I see 1 to 2 TRX’s every day. Which is still far less than the 20 raptors a day I see. Heck, I see 1-2 Raptor R’s a week.

There was a hurricane x in the works 1000 hp maybe turned out they could only pull 825 hp ??

Same here in the Houston area, all Raptors all day long. Haven’t been lucky enough to get side by side yet….. :)
