There was a time period around late COVID, 2022 or so where a ton of trucks across vendors were shipped without start/stop due to the chip shortage. Right after my Gen 3 Raptor was built, they stated offering an auto start/stop delete option due to chip shortage.

On the TRX, it was never an option. 2021-2024 - none of them have it.
 
I believe the trucks currently being built already have the recall updates incorporated prior to shipping. I have one in transit right now and checked my VIN on NHTSA earlier today and it shows no recalls outstanding.

Hey @Eighty - first, thanks for everything you do here!

Any idea what’s driving the big number of 0-day and short build-to-WS timelines lately? Mine’s currently sitting at 22 days (1/22 BS), which I know is still shorter than a lot of others, but it’s a bit discouraging seeing so many builds flying through with no movement on others.

Curious if there’s anything behind that or just normal variability.
 
Answering both of you (same question). It's just a guess, but I figure it's because all these dealer stock orders that just got built are probably low-optioned trucks. Until today, the past several days had no Bed Utility Groups, for example.
 
That makes sense. I went against my historical patterns when ordering and the only option I selected was the pano roof (other than lvl 1, obviously). I wasn't necessarily thinking about time spent at the factory installing things and more about just doing them myself.

Bed utility group wasn't an option when I ordered, but now I'm wondering if that's something I can even feasibly install myself. haha

Same! Not sure about the electric outlet in the bed but the bed step is easy install.
 
I don’t have much for extra options, but I think RAM heard me say that with each passing day I am more likely to give up on my RHO sitting there for months at this “body vendor” and order a TRX 🤣
