2026 Ram RHO Unbiased Review

I'm relatively new to owning a Truck...6 months...Been a high performance sport sedan type driver, plus sport bikes owner that will truly scare the crap out of you all my life...The RHO is truly incredible, fun to drive and very pleasing to the eye...Some irritable things, like the Uconnect system not connecting every time to my iPhone, but learned through the forum how to address. After driving more than 7000 miles back and forth from Ohio to Myrtle beach, I can truly say, "You cannot beat the spaciousness and comfort" I get to my destination and spring out of the truck like a 20 year old...Truck now has ~12k miles and I get as excited today about driving it as I did the day I picked it up from the dealer...

I'm truly happy you are enjoying your RHO. My 2026 RHO threw a code after driving it about 10 miles from the dealer and has been sitting in their service area for 61 days and counting waiting for an airbag module to arrive. The latest update is no ETA. I've been driving trucks for 45 years.
Got to be a tough pill to swallow I'm sure, especially at the price point these trucks are at! I don't think anyone likes to hear of issues that cannot be responded to in a timely manner by the dealership on a vehicle that cost 80K+.
I'm glad for those that are experiencing no issues with their RHO but a little frustrated with issues like yours that are within a very short time of purchase. I own a Rebel and its had a recall that is kind of in the same boat. Put you on a list waiting for the part, then they'll get back with you. That's been three months.
Have also been a truck owner for many years and seeing the issues that have been brought forward by the addition of electronics has been, IMO, troublesome to say the least. Do they give us a lot of cool options? Sure but after working in that world on aircraft for almost 40 years, I know that those options come at a price and a tremendously aggressive maintenance program. I have seen a few other posts that mention the checking of circuit breaker and relay seating, not to mention the proper seating of electrical connectors, pushed back pins etc. all normal troubleshooting of electrical systems and when I get mine in, that will be the first thing I do!
All the best DM2059, I hope Ram gets you the support they owe you with the purchase of this truck. To all those out there that have not encountered issues requiring your truck to be hospitalized for months on end, hope this continues for you, and awesome truck it is with no competitors at this point!

I was really hoping to have the same experience as you but unfortunately I have one with issues. My digital dash constantly goes out and the uconnect is absolute trash, constantly freezes and the screen goes black. The dealer I purchased from has been no help and the dealer I took it to for repairs can’t replicate the issue but can see connection issues. I love the performance and price point but not enough to keep dealing with these issues.

I'm very happy you haven't had any problems. I hope it continues.

I didn't have my first issue until I was at 3053 miles.
