Totally agree, that's not even up for debate. But if I compare it to my RHO mpg gauge its not that different, that's the takeaway. I've also said in another thread if putting in the I6 only gains you 1.5 mpg what's the point?

What MPG are most getting in an RHO on freeway at 69-70MPH?

I do not usually drive that slow on highway so do not have an accurate comparison. I usually cruise approx. 75-80mph.

The new TRX does seem awesome and very impressive.

Not sure I can justify the increased up-front cost and mpg difference.

That's two different things. I guess my point was the RHO and TRX mpg difference is negligible so you're not gonna get the RHO because of better gas mileage. I can't believe anyone buying either of these trucks cares about mpg at all.

How much more is the performance and sound of the TRX worth to you? That's different for all of us and as a daily I don't think the difference is meaningful. in my case it isn't worth $30k more to get the TRX although I'd love to have one. If it was $5k difference, maybe so.

I've been getting around 14.5 on the highway with my RHO but it only has 2600 miles so I expect it will improve. I have a 2,200 mile trip coming up next week so I'll hand calculate and report back. The value for me is the RHO is a great highway cruiser and I'll start running some trails in the spring.

My RHO got 16.6 running 78mph on a 700 mile trip occasionally hitting 16.7 . That was last week 90+ degrees 11,000 miles on the truck 93 octane.

Im averaging 14 right now with 37s and level kit. About 60% highway 40% street…70-75 on the highway and I dont drive like I stole it. Super happy with it. I would look at the trx if it was 10k more not 30k. Not worth it.

I would love to get the new TRX but no way I would spend an extra 30K for it.
RHO has been solid and very affordable.
15 MPG I can live with as a daily driver.

The TRX is really awesome, but 30k up charge & reduced MPG doesn't make much sense today!
