I have avoided the dealer for over 30k miles and finally have no choice but to take it in. Having intermittent issues that is starving truck of fuel. Happened once a few weeks ago and was able to reset PCM and move on with life. Yesterday morning it happened while driving to work on freeway. Intense hesitation, misfiring and stuttering of the transmission. Had to pull off and limp to dealer. Truck is throwing P2146-00 and P216D00 Codes for PCM Fuel Injector Group 1 & 6 supply voltage circuit low, along with several Misfire codes. Like I stated the vehicle begins running very lean and is starving for fuel.

Dealer wanted me to leave my truck for 10 to 15 days before they could even look at it. What a joke. Got right back in my truck and left. Luckily, I managed to find a not as local dealer that would get it in Monday and get right to it along with giving me a loaner. More to come - I have some ideas as to what it is, but we will see what the dealer says and repairs. Long laundry list of other issues being addressed as well while there.

Anyone else every experienced this yet?

If you require support in any capacity while your vehicle is at the dealer we can look into this for pre-existing TSB's and STAR cases that may aid in having this resolved right away.

I appreciate it and will reach out if support is needed from a technical side.

On the dealer side - I have 3 local CDJR dealers near me that I won't step foot it. I know they are franchise dealers and not corporately owned, but Stellantis Dealer system is broken. I wouldn't treat a guy trying to rob me and steal my baby the way that these dealers treat customers. This upsets me more than the issues with the vehicle. Its causing harm and loss of customers from the Stellantis brand. I am going 40 miles out of my way to get treated like a human vs. 3 miles to my nearest CDJR dealer. The other two near me are less than 10 miles from me. Regardless of the vehicle issues that are frustrating as a consumer, the lack of respect, communication, and flat-out professionalism from these dealers is out of control. Run that up the flagpole if you want to help. Could help with the half a billion net loss in Q3 as well. My 2 cents! Thanks Chris.

I've noticed lately that when I am running WOT (or nearly WOT) passing folks on the interstate, I feel what I can describe as more of a surging than a hesitation or stumbling. Truck still runs strong and no CELs illuminated, but it's weird. Almost think it could have been some poor quality gas?

Yep. I've experienced this same thing from my local dealer. Their Service Dept. got butt-hurt because I bought the vehicle from Mark Dodge and not from them. I told them if they wanted to prevent that in the future, to get competitive with their prices. They flat-out told me they cannot/will not compete with Mark Dodge. They were quite pissy about it. I think Stellantis allows too much freedom to these dealers that carry their name. Like you said, dealers are screwing it up, not the other way around.

We regret to hear that this has been your experience. Your frustrations are certainly heard. This will be documented for review purposes and we thank you for sharing this with us. Again, if support is needed any further, we'll do our best to assist where able.

same here, have one like 3 miles away, other one like 5, and I rather drive to one that is 40 miles away

This was a clear loss of power because of lack of fuel - Transmission wanted to shift up as speed increased and as it did with little TQ it stuttered so bad it felt like I had a Level 1 with massaging seats. Also coming to a stop there was RPM surge, headlights flickering, CEL blinking at one point. This is my first MAJOR annoyance/Issue with my truck. I have read for the last year and a half about all the others experiences and issues. Not sure why I ever thought I was in the clear. LOL... All is well. Will get it fixed and enjoy driving it daily. I definitely will not be trading in as values have tanked. Although I just yesterday evening was looking at used and new TRX's. Hard to justify six figures for a vehicle, and hard to justify the market value of a used TRX. Oh well... Life goes on!!!

As much as I love my truck, I’m starting to realize at some point I’ll hit my tipping point and just cut my losses. Between quality issues with the vehicle, Stellantis’ lack of customer support, and Ram service center incompetence to resolve said issues… I’m becoming pretty sour on the overall brand and experience.

Best of luck to you in your dealer venture. I wish I could say they’ll get you fixed right up and you can put these issues behind you… but that just hasn’t been my experience.

What would you get into today if you sold your Ram?

Something less “cool”, I’m sure.

I know this is where we say “all vehicles are having problems”, and I’m aware of some of them. We also bought a 2025 Toyota Sequoia last year and I’m aware of their V6 engine concerns… but comparing my RHO that has been in the shop for over 60 days of ownership to the Sequoia and all prior Toyotas spending exactly 0 days, this is an unwelcome surprise.

Even my prior 2020 Ram only spent a week in the shop in 100k miles. This 2025 is nothing like my prior experiences.

Came across an 800hp f-150 pre-runner with 28k miles for 60k that has me intrigued. Just doesn’t seem logical for a daily driver.
