I will start with the performance first...It instantly removed the down shift clunk I was getting in Sport mode...I don't know how long it will last, but it's a good start....I highly do Not recommend installing this without a lift...The clearance between the bolt and flange is just Stupid tight...You can't even get a box wrench on the bolt...I had to search the tool box for a Chinese 16mm socket because the snap on was to thick to fit...Alot of cursing going on with this installation...Using a Torque wrench on the back end was easy, but the front was truly a PITA...So if someone else installed the aluminum shaft let me know if you thought it was a pain.

Mine clunks when first starting to roll from a stop. I rarely, if ever, get a clunk on downshift. Is this the same cause?

This drive shaft should fix your issue...My '25 Clunked hard on a 3rd to 2nd down shift in sport mode and my '26 is/was doing too...Very annoying, but fixed now.

I used an open end wrench and just did an extra ugga sincei couldn’t get a torque wrench on it on my TRX. It stiffened up the drive line real nice

Just installed the East Coast carbon fiber in my RHO. Long wait to receive shaft. Easy install and drives perfectly. Very satisfied!

I was always under the impression the slop was in the yokes inside the transmission and/or differential. But since these aftermarket shafts just bolt on with flanges, It appears the slop is actually in the OEM u-joints instead then?

I'm glad you mentioned that...I felt that way,but didn't know if it was just my imagination and wishful thinking...

The spline is the main upgrade, also 4lbs lighter...Balanced better than factory...I feel it is a legit upgrade, but everyone there own options.
