They make rubber mats in the footprint of the bed, at a basic level that’ll help keep things from sliding around too much. For this truck I’m considering a CargoGlide (Decked) or similar from another brand, and I’ll keep a few cases in there for stuff I always want in the bed. Then accessing those cases or loading/unloading other things should be easy. Haven’t owned one before but I think I’ll be doing this for the RHO. And a tonneau cover on top to keep it covered.first time owning a pickup. How can I place my baggage in the bed without sliding? Bed devider or and other products? Thanks!
man thx for the info! I am also looking at the inflatable camper to put on the bed. They make rubber mats in the footprint of the bed, at a basic level that’ll help keep things from sliding around too much. On my Power Wagon I have a Decked drawer system. For smaller items the drawers are great and keep things organized. Larger items have to go on top, and although there are multiple spots to tie down on the actual deck, the likelihood of me climbing up there to do that is very small (especially since I have a SmartCap on there so it becomes a little tight) unless it truly needs to be tied down. So for smaller things it’s been great, you do lose some space in the dead space bed between the drawers, and it effectively raises the level of your bed quite a bit. In the PW this means it’s especially high since it’s raised and on 37s. My skis don’t fit in the drawer so in the winter I remove one so i can use that spot for skis. Not ideal. I don’t think any system is, just depends on what the priorities are. I’m interested also in what ideas people have here and what has worked for you all on other trucks…
can i use the divider directly with the tonneau cover?I'm just going to use the Mopar Bed Extender as a divider...
It sits lower than the bed lip, so I would say, "Yes."can i use the divider directly with the tonneau cover?
I thought about one of these but it doesn't keep smaller things from rolling around unless you add a net to it. I used to use a 2x6 installed into the slots in the bed but I'm getting old and got tired of leaning over the tailgate to reach things. No need to spend a lot of money, something like this is $35 and can be removed easily when not needed and put in place within seconds.

I like the slide-out capability the Rough Country.I have this coming tomorrow https://www.roughcountry.com/product/bed-cargo-storage-box-10202
some places say this works best with a bed cover?I use this from Last Boks in my Laramie (purchased on Amazon). It is nice because you can slide it onto the tailgate load it up and push it back into the bed. Reverse that process for unloading. It is also easy to clean up if something drips or spills (e.g., diesel can for my tractor). It is also easy to remove and doesn't interfere with my tonneau cover. I'm not sure if they are making them for the RHO yet but there is another manufacturer making a similar item that is mentioned in another thread on this forum.

Air/wind will probably blow it around and try to 'dump' it, especially with little or no weight in it.some places say this works best with a bed cover?
what happens with no bed cover?
It is installed with two straps attached to hooks in the bed. If there is no cover and items in the box aren't strapped or weighted down they could fly out of the bed when driving.some places say this works best with a bed cover?
