Maybe getting a small ladder for this purpose would be a good ideaMy denim doesn't stretch enough for that to be viable but shorts and stretchy pants it is easy peasy. Your yoga mileage may vary![]()

That's how I wash the truck. I haven't a clue how people reach front middle of roof and windshield....scaffolding?Maybe getting a small ladder for this purpose would be a good idea![]()
I can't wait to see this step's debut on Fail Army!Reading through this thread has me laughing....that step seems like it works on witchcraft and whatever it feels like doing. LOL.
I see them on Ebay and such. People are usually looking for around $100-$125 for new take-offs or some that are still in the box.Anyone able to find a backstep for the 2025 Rho? Mine did not come with rear back step that you kick down and up.
Any suggestions as to which one fits and where I can find one?
THANKS
I'm waiting for it to bite me. I had some people over for my son's graduation and one of my gearhead buddies left. 30 minutes later I get a text from him stating 'You should probably know that I put down your bed step on my way out showing my son how to use it. I couldn't get it to retract. Wanted to give you a heads up to raise it so nobody sees you driving and thinks your an idiot. It's me, I'm the idiot".LMAO that exact thing happened to me and I took a chin full of plastic, which was better than the pavement hug I'd have most certainly received.
The trick is to use it ONLY as a step up into bed. If you try to stand on it for any other purpose it definitely collapses and in a way that human body doesn't. It's funny that it'll collapse if you are standing on it but I'm the only one in my family that can get it to return back under truck (on purpose).
Exactly. Mine works just fine. I never died or anything.I don’t know what y’all are doing wrong with the step. I’ve used mine hundreds of times and never had it shift on me. And closing it is simple - just stand behind it and give it a good swift “kick” with the ball of your foot and it’ll pop back in perfectly.
