No, YOU can see fine with regular mirrors. YOU could probably also walk just fine after 3 shots of tequila whereas I'd be having the time of my life trying not to fall off the moving floor.
Blanket statements aren't great unless you also know everyone. Everyone in my circle would disagree in a big way, but as I say, if you can, then more power to you and swap them out and sell old ones off. I'd require a hammerhead eye conversion to see properly with anything over 18', unless it was a flatbed, that wasn't loaded high. I'm also by lakes and our runabouts are Big Booty Gals
