Has anyone install an auto start/stop eliminator?
Looks like the button does not remember that last setting. It defaults to ON every time the truck is started up.

Correct. You have to disable it every time. There may be sort of aftermarket tuner to permanently disable it, others can chime in on that. In the meantime, just hit the start button then move two inches lower and to the left and hit the disable button.

At least there is a simple button to hit. On my wife's BMW, you have to navigate to a different screen to do it, what a PITA!!!

Taser DT eliminated it on my TRX. But no word on when they’ll be out for the RHO

When turn heat on Hi and turn the fan on.. Auto start system will not work.. same when you are using AC.

It's not a permanent solution but it's an option.

You don't have to have the fan on highest setting, you can keep it on lowest setting.

Oh weird. Good to know.

I used to have one of those old shitty Nissan Rogues with the CVTs. Every time you went around a curve the traction control lost its mind thinking you were near death. Became second nature to just turn it off every time I started it - I assume this will soon be the same with the auto start stop button.

FN Nissan POS CVT's got stuck at Grand Canyon years ago because it blew. 4 Trans later we sent to afterlife.

On the autostart/stop front:
The Uconnexct has a pop up on screen and tells you auto start/stop can't run because of AC. It solved my problem from now til November, because it's already in 80s and black truck 🥵

Pretty sure all ICE vehicles have em now. It turns off engine when stopped and back on upon gas pedal activation. Starters are beefed up to handle it but I dislike it greatly.
Agree. I hate them. They're supposed to save gas. Fine. But the 'powers that be' have no problem with remote start, so people can burn 15 minutes worth of gas while they heat them up in the winter and cool them in the summer before we depart. Makes no sense whatsoever. Such a mixed signal sent.

Thanks, I know what it is, but Hellcats never had it, including the TRX. The 6.4L V8s got MDS (unless you got one with a manual), but never had the start/stop either, to my knowledge. At least not in the USA.

Regardless, I agree, I dislike start-stop.

My 2022 TRX didn’t have auto start/stop .

must have been thinking of my limited then.
No worries. The later 5.7s with the eTorque system had auto start/stop on the Rams, so its very possible you had it there.

You can also unplug the IBS atleast it worked on previous years, the stop start system is constantly looking for a state of charge and if it doesn't see it It won't meet the conditions and just display "stop start not ready battery charging".
