Battery swap?

I bought a new Duralast Aux Battery due to issues I'd been having with BSM (I noticed when fully charged via NOCO Genius 5 the issues went away) and 2 months and 2K miles ago, and it's been problem-free.

I spend more money a week month on bourbon (don't judge haha) so it was an easy decision for me - plus if it didn't solve my issues I would have just returned it

For me, my time is worth more than going through the hassle of dropping the truck off with a dealership
What kind of bourbon you drankin'?

After reading multiple threads about our battery concerns, this appears to be a hot topic.

Has anyone swapped the stock batteries for these? If so, what is your experience?

To provide some context and a bit of a repeat of what I have posted in a previous thread:

"I have also been tracking my battery voltage. When it is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit it starts out around 14.1 volts. However, it then fluctuates when driving between 14.1 and 13.5. On a 100-degree day, it went down to 12.9, but fluctuating back up to 13.5. To my spouse it is the daily battery voltage report. ;)

I had a dealer check the system and perform a load test on the batteries, and they advised there was no issue with them. However, when I took it in, it was a cooler day. They advised if I am not getting a warning light, the batteries should be okay....

I also asked their thoughts on upgrading the battery to something non-Mopar, and they did not recommend it. They thought it could impact the electrical system, going with a battery with higher cranking amps. This did not sound right to me."
Those numbers dont sound bad to me at all. What are you looking for? Just curious.

Brother, I have way too much in this house - and what's worse, my wife enjoys it as much as I do. Always neat and always in a Glencairn

haha we can do that!

This is my work from home spot and it's also just a tiny portion of the few hundred bottles we have all over the house 😬

I collect way more than I drink

I have had a some electrical "gremlins" here and there. I have the tire psi display indicate it was not reading a tire or two from time to time. Had the emergency brake system light turn on once, and the lane management display disappear. The other day my odometer was flashing but still recording the miles. However, these issues all have gone away after a night in the garage. It does not happen during every outing and seems to correlate with the battery voltage dipping below 13.5V; however, this could be a coincidence...

For what it is worth, I put a Noco Genius 2 battery charger on both batteries yesterday. After they were fully charged, I drove about 50 miles. There was no large fluctuation in the voltage during this trip. It stayed between 14.0-14.2V.

Going to have to add some bourbon to the list for the weekend adventures...lol

Louisiana got you covered also.

I had mine dead again after yesterday after sitting for a day. Both times the battery was at 5volts and the last time was months ago and had been perfect until yesterday. I was able to charge the battery and it was able to take a charge. I have not seen any of the over the air updates and really makes me think my truck is having issues downloading it which causes the computer to stay on. I can’t understand why they don’t have a fail safe to stop the battery from going below 11 so you still have a fighting chance to use a jump pack. Still love the truck but I should not have to hit the unlock button every morning to make sure the lights flash so I know the battery is not dead.

My trucks alive and well actually. And if it does die Ram can pay for new batteries under warranty, not me. Why Spend $500 out of fear from a forum? LOL Bruh.
That's 100% where I fall as well. On trips I travel with solar generator and charger and tend to trickle charge a little bit daily, in addition to complete charge before adventures, BUT if my batteries crap out on a trail, I will be more than a little bummed ;)
(I'll be like the old lady tossing her tire through store window, but with whole truck)
