Anyone switching out the silver lug nuts for black ones on the black rims?

Send a picture! I'm considering but not sure how much difference it makes

do these last? Had few sets of black lugnuts on the other car and they get rusty in 2 months

I have been summoned!

So long as the nuts are handled with care, they will remain in good shape.

Black w/ Locks

All Locks

All Nuts

Spikes?

Is anyone else bothered that you can see the unpainted part of the wheel around the holes where the stock chrome lug nuts hid that prior to the swap. Flanged vs coned etc. Nit sure if im going to use touch up or something else but it bothers the hell out of me.

Totally bothered by it. So much that I haven’t installed the set I ordered in January (learned about this right after mine arrived). That will bother me even more than the stock silver lug nuts. At this point I’m waiting to see if anyone comes out with a set that are the same as factory, just in black, to eliminate this issue

I think theres much more to focus on these trucks then that, I don't think anyones going to come out with a truck specific lug nut either.

The fact that our fenders are different colors then the rest of the trucks, panels don't fit right, batteries die.. If you get close enough up to your two tone line and realize that the tape line is very poorly done.. cats melting..if you look at the fender flares wrong they scratch..we have much more to be worried about visually.

But on a serious note a few minutes with some paint and a q-tip you could make it not noticeable, you can also see the unpainted portion with the stock lug nuts.

The ones with the best amount of coverage are all locking and extremely over priced in my opinion.

I have the same as factory size in black and you still see the unpainted area. Just go look at your silver factory lugs and you can see the unpainted area but don't notice since it matches the lugs. I got some flat black touch up paint and just slapped it on there and it looks perfect and I am OCD. With flat you can't even see if you put it on a touch uneven. When I installed them I did one lug at a time but would be much easier to take the wheel off vs painting around the stud.
