Black lug nuts

I have been summoned!

So long as the nuts are handled with care, they will remain in good shape.

Black w/ Locks

All Locks

All Nuts

Spikes?

Just ordered some, didn't realize the stock lugs weren't black.........Don't have truck yet, hopefully by the weekend!!!!!

Just ordered the lugs and lock kit.

Wasn't there a group discount code to use for accessory purchases?

Anyone switching out the silver lug nuts for black ones on the black rims?
I bought black lugs before I had a truck. I prefer the silver ones. Breaks it up a bit.

I think theres much more to focus on these trucks then that, I don't think anyones going to come out with a truck specific lug nut either.

The fact that our fenders are different colors then the rest of the trucks, panels don't fit right, batteries die.. If you get close enough up to your two tone line and realize that the tape line is very poorly done.. cats melting..if you look at the fender flares wrong they scratch..we have much more to be worried about visually.

But on a serious note a few minutes with some paint and a q-tip you could make it not noticeable, you can also see the unpainted portion with the stock lug nuts.

The ones with the best amount of coverage are all locking and extremely over priced in my opinion.

Man I hate hearing you’re having those issues. Mine is a late January build and fortunately it has none of that, at all.

Anyone try something like these? It seems like there isn't a great solution (i.e. one that locks and covers all of the machined part) out there.

These are 30mm just like factory and are all the same size and use the same lock key for all 24. Still even with buying them you can still see silver when looking from an angle unless you touch up the area with paint. Not sure why people seem afraid to apply a little paint.

$150 for lug nuts. Yowza.

Really dumb question - but how is having some offset splines so safe? If they have a handful of these "keys", can't they pop them right off? Not familiar with that system.

80k trucks that drink $80 of gas a week - seems like a rounding error to me!
Right. That’s what parts manufacturers are banking on 😂

The pricing is interesting, though. Some Gorilla lug nuts are $60-72, and these are 2x+ cost.

Can someone post pictures of how much silver is showing on a black wheel with the standard diameter lug nuts?

I paid $125 at the time. I justified it because they were matching lugs in a 24 lug set that also were 30mm wide like the factory in hopes to not see silver. I was more saying not to waste the money and just apply some paint. The locking lugs suck to rotate and if I had found a 30mm set without locking I would have. Other posts here that I have seen are like 22mm flange and show even more silver but end of day the only way to not see silver is to paint the insides which takes less than 2 minutes a wheel.

When you look at sets make sure they are quantity 24. Most of their sets are 20 lug sets.
Post 8 and post 1 show the wheels with standard lug nuts installed.

Dirty wheel but zero silver showing now on mine.

Thank you. My bad for not scrolling back. I don’t suppose that small silver ring bothers me much at all. I’ll probably be doing this… just need to decide whether to go with standard hex lug or splines.
