You’re clearly knowledgeable on this subject.Traction and human reaction don't matter a lot when it comes to trap speed. Human reaction really doesn't play much of any part at all. The only thing you are reacting to is smashing the pedal, there is no RT, there is no tree, there is no competitor next to you. We are measuring power not racing.
Same goes for traction to an extent. Spin the launch and have a slower 60ft or 0-60 doesn't matter much by the end of the 1/4. Your trap speed will be the same just a lower et. These are AWD vehicles so you cant lay down a 100 ft burnout lol
MPH is very consistent in the 1/4 with the same DA and vehicle / IAT's
My 1/4 mile trap is 102.xx at 6600-7500ft DA and my et can vary as much by .7 seconds depending on launch. Truck makes the same power on both/all runs. Looking at MPH takes the error out of it.
But Yes, ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL... MPH never lies
Dynos are a great delta tool. It made this then I added this part and it made this...
So naturally, I’m curious to learn… why did you choose CAT6 over JB4?
