Got the truck yesterday. Went on slow trip. Today drove to airport and see smoke in my rear mirror.
Didn't seem to be from engine. So took the next exit and see oil dripping from the whole underbody. It's literally everywhere like it exploded. When I was pulling to park it I hear grinding noise. So I guess front differential just exploded or whatever. At the same time I got all these warnings on the dashboard it looked like Chrismas tree. First it was braking failure then 4x4 failure. So waiting for towing company now...

What does it smell like? Diff fluid has a distinct smell compared to motor oil.

man you got a lot going on here, I hope your dealer, or local dealer can get it sorted out for you quickly.

Keep us in the loop. Such an early failure, it wasn’t built correctly.

Why is your tire pressure so high?

it did smell bit, like brake fluid actually, but didn't have any issue with brake.. but differential was making noises like if I shave teeth on spur gear on my Xmaxx

that's what I'm worried about as I'm in South Florida and haven't been really happy with any of them in the past

I'm in west palm beach and taking mine in to napleton tomorrow because the check engine light went on almost immediately after i got it. The truck doesn't even have 100 miles on it yet (got it last thursday). Let's stay in touch since we are both in south Florida and can hopefully help each other out and share info on local dealers etc. I will PM you my contact info

ok!! I'm in Boca, the truck is now it Tamarac as it broke on the way to Miami. How is Napleton? Never been to that one.

Man this sucks. Sorry you are dealing with this, especially so soon. I'm blown away by the ineptitude of the assembly and QC of these trucks. Workers really earning those pay raises.

Sounds like a diff issue. Hope it gets resolved quickly.

My truck was delivered with that same tire pressure. Aired them down once I realized.

finally heard back from the service manager on my truck after being there all week with CEL that started on the same day I got my truck. they are replacing the 3 way coolant valve ( according to service department it is a 12V DC powered valve that controls coolant flow through the electric coolant heater) and have ordered the part. I'll update here after the repair as to whether or not that works.

you should be running soon..

my dealership ordered NEW transmission, it will be there on 26th.. if they fix it fast they will be very close to the 30 days in dealership limit for lemon law..

also they didn't want to give me loaner, just for 5 days.. called FCA and created case to get it for the all time it spent in shop.. it's been there week already

These dealerships hate giving out loaners.

is the 30 days for lemon law total days even if it is for different issues? in other words if it is in 3 week for CEL and gets repaired and then has to go back again for 2 weeks for different issue does it qualify for lemon law

it says "out of service for repair" 30 days combined.. doesn't say it has to be the same issue so I guess it applies any of your problems

These laws are state dependent. Make sure you check where you live vs. what another forum member states applies where they live.
